I totally agree. In my thirties I developed IBS from stress. At the age of 48 it became fibromyalgia/CFS. Now I've got a fight on my hands.

«The illness can be the solution», this speaks to me 100%. And I am now finally able to truly acknowledge this being 95% recovered from years of chronic pain and neuropathy. I was that person, completely drowing in overload at work, single mom, excercising non-stop 7 days a week, in incredible physical shape, and still feeling completely miserable and overloaded in my forced and perfectionistic way of living. I got injured, and developed severe chronic pain in the following years, which made me unable to work, unable to excercise, unable to continue living like a «superhero», and istead forced me to take a deeper look at myself, my values, and slowly learn the meaning of living more mindfully and in compassion with myself ❤️

Another incredible interview! I have completed Dan's program but Today there was something that clicked for me for the 1st time. The word acceptance. I hate that word. But today I finally get what it really means in regard to the program. It means you've had this crap for some time now and it hasn't killed you yet... stop fearing it and getting upset all say long... accept the symptoms as just an annoying condition of the dysautonomia... they are not worthy of all the fear and further layering of dysfunction. Dan is a true sage. I just wish I caught and understood this a year ago! Lol

@@liamo54321 the first step is to learn the mechanism of how these illnesses get started and why we get stuck. Once understood, accept that as the truth. Which it is... then stop fearing the symptoms so much and giving your life away to them.... eventually these will calm down... but only if you do first. Get it?

The best comprehensive explanation why brain retraining is hard for different people is from Primal Trust program, there is a lot going on with brain retraining. Would love to have you interview Chathleen King. She has so far the most comprehensive explanation I have seen.

Great interview thank you both so much! So interesting about IBS being Fibro, as someone who has had IBS for 20 years and now Long Covid, I'm beginning to realise I've really had the same condition for a long time its just that long covid stopped me in my tracks! Also, I know exactly what you mean about visualisations and not getting the feelings, that's my main problem overall I think with brain retraining, as I have tried DNRS and also Cathleen Kings work but I'm always missing the feelings part which is probably the most important with those programs. The jigsaw is slowly coming together though I think, thanks to interviews like this 😀

Emma, I tried DNRS and could not keep up with the rounds and visualization. I was so dissapointed. And waited another year until I gave a other program a try. I fully recovered with ANS Rewire. It took me 14 months. There is no visualization to be used for the brain retraining part. Not at all. So completed different than Gupta or DNRS. I hope you are well..

Is a multi lateral approach. So a lot of different angles you want to approach recovery. But yes, the key component is the brain retraining part where you learn how to use neuroplastisity to change how the nervous system reacts and creates the bodily sensations. I fully recovered with ANS Rewire.

I find it interesting that he says if there are no positive changes in 6 weeks to try something different. Id love to hear more in detail what he means.
@TheChronicComeback
@TheChronicComeback 2 года назад
Hi Janet... my view on what he said was: 1. not completely change what you are doing and try something completely different. 2. just assess what is working and what isn't working 3. How close to the plan are you actually following? If you aren't following very close then you know the changes you need to make. If you are following it very closely, then maybe you need to change it slightly, but not dramatically. Just my take :-)

@@TheChronicComeback i like your view on what he was saying and i definitely was not a see improvements in 6 weeks person. My first jump was more at 6 months. I started with Gupta and am now doing more DNRS with a set amount of minutes per day plus trying to catch thoughts but thats been tricky for me. Plus in the last few months have added somatic work. Ive been retraining for 13 months and i am somewhat better but its been a lot of ups and downs. And i have periods where acceptance is better than others. Nothing about this has been easy but i wont stop until i see the miracle. ❤️ Thank you for all you do Phil and I really enjoyed listening to Dan.

@@janettucker254 hey... to be fair to Dan, I think he was responding to me on this matter, pushing him for an answer lol! What you are saying is totally true and to be honest, is an area which i fall short a lot. I tend to move on too quickly if i don't see quick results and you being patient is totally the way. I too did Gupta but found it difficult... Yes it's nice to hear of people having these crazy turnarounds but sometimes, it's going to take a little longer BUT we will get there!! Where are you getting your somatic work in? I am releasing an episode with Cathleen King (I think this week) and she talks about that. Thanks for the constructive positivity :-)

@@TheChronicComeback i learned my somatic work from Sarah Jackson. ☺️ I usually turn to the somatic work when i get in a trauma loop or have a lot of fearful thoughts. Connecting with the body helps me calm that down so much. I cant brain retrain during those times so to send signals of safety through the body has been a big help to me. Im looking forward to hearing Cathleen Kings interview. Im very interested in her Primal Trust program.

@Janet Tucker Dan is referring at a change every 6 to 8 weeks (he is saying this in his program as well). But thisnis referring to his program and his methods. Not as a general rule with other brain retraining. I think this is an important distinction. I tried DNRS before and over there were totally different approaches and expectation ANS is totally different than Gupta or DNRS. No visualization and you do the brain retraining as needed not doing just to do it. You learn to recognize when you need to do it. That recognition was KEY in my recovery. I fully recovered with ANS Rewire and it took me 14 months 100%. At month 10 I was at 90%. Just took a bit more time for the last 10 %. I was sick for a total of 4 years.

Subscribed ! But basically, what is brain training and how do I get started ? You mentioned Joe Dispenza, I do practice mindfulness meditation, is it part of brain training ? Thanks Phil.
@alexandraalbertz1442

Brain retraining are based on neuroplastisity which is the brain capacity to change itself. There are key techniques where we learn to recognize triggers and learn how to interrupt the old pathways there are formed from our nervous system to our body sensations. I fully recovered with ANS Rewire.

I have been sick with chronic fatigue due to Lyme for 14y. I did neurofeedback which took care of many symptoms, such as insomnia, anxiety etc. I think I just need to start slowly getting my muscles stronger by doing graded exercise (diet is already good). What does Dan think? Would this be the last missing piece of the puzzle?

Dan Neuffer saying that "Everyone can visualize" is an incorrect statement. Having essentially a blind mind's eye is an actual and real condition called Aphantasia.
@alexandraalbertz1442
@alexandraalbertz1442 Год назад
Visualization is not just with what our mind can see. Can be done in our way with other senses. But eighter way ANS Rewire is not about visualization..I tried DNRS before and could not do all that visualization and then with ANS Rewire I fully recovered. I wish you all the best.

They are offering so much for free. Right here plus the other videos are 2 hours of free content. Dozen of free recovery interviews. To put these programs togheter is like a movie production. It takes a lot of investment with money, time, research, camera crew etc. Then people who became experts they change their jobs to to this full time. How can they support their family when they give dozen of hours a week for free?
