I’d love to see a series of Nara trying things for the first time like eating specific foods, watching foreign tv shows, meeting non Koreans... I think it’s amazing how she’s adapting and taking everything in her stride. The way she so casually talks about the oppression she was subjected to.... I’m so glad she’s able to experience all these wonderful things now

holy crap this video was amazing! coming from a western country, anything we know about n. korea is limited. even when we think we know about their culture, we'll never truly know until we have people like Nara speak so openly about it. I'm glad that she is able to live a freer life now, and I hope she finds happiness and comfort in s. korea.

What I like at most in how this channel speaks about North Korea is that, they don't talk in a depressed way, for sure it was hard for her and for the people who are still there but her composure shows the strength of her people.

I enjoy whatching it, this is why it is nice to have some talk to someone that live in a different countries. We could sometimes learn from them, especially those things that are not familiar or we're not used to. I'd learned a lot from her and it's nice and cute to hear how she enjoys telling all of those experiences of her.

Loved this video. It’s always directed as a negative when hearing about North Korea- it’s definitely a culture shock, but she stated just how it is very eloquently. 👍

I like how Nara is not offended at all by the reactions she gets from the two other girls. Surprise is comprehensible and I know I would react almost the same way as they do, but she could also think it's rude and cut off saying North Koreans are not allowed to do things differently... She explains everything, always smiling but I can see in her eyes she can't help feeling "a little"miserable about her past and her fellow citizens...

This is really interesting. Particularly with this kind of lighthearted presentation, it provides a real sense of perspective on the modern day police state of NK from the perspective of just some girl living there.

I think this is my fave video from this channel. I love how they created such a professional safe space for Kang Nara to share the culture and customs she grew up with. This is a reality for North Korea. People should know the degrees of how abusive, manipulative, and controlling their government is.

I really love how she managed to make the video enjoyable, fun and sometimes even cheerful even though the memories she holds of the place are probably not gentle

This is not a competition.)

OMG I want to see 84738282 more videos about her and life in North Korea but even more about how she’s adjusting to life now and seeing her try things for the first time! I want to host her in my home here in America and show her anything and everything she could ever dream of! I had no idea about a lot of the things she was saying. It’s so fascinating and also incredibly heart breaking! 😢 Tell her if she ever wants to come to America I’d love to show her around and talk with her. I really need to get fluent in Korean! My best friend’s adult daughter speaks it (and 5 or 6 other languages) but an interpreter wouldn’t be quite the same.

Imagine being shot or sent to labour camp just for watching a drama! 😔 hearing how some people are living in parts of the world truly puts everything in perspective! Damn we complain a lot about silly things and take everything for granted 🙈

She's only one year older than me and she's probably experienced way more than what I could imagine

Nara is lovely. As for the misconception of working 7 days a week here, yes, it's a myth, but some of us work weekends and the weekdays are filled with whatever we can get (like me, trying to struggle to keep what little I have as I'm homeless and trying to score an RV for a couple of reality show projects I can make and profit from). I will definitely look at her channel and see if it's content I can relate to.
