Sonk From The Future: After making the video I realised that the transitions are really long and that I also speak really fast. I’m sorry! Here are some timestamps to make finding the next section easier. I’m trying to add the script I made in sync with the video (for the subtitles) so people can understand the video better! Thanks for the support! Next Video will be out soon! (May not be sonic related, it’s only in the early stages of development) -Sonk.MP3
I would just say for the transition into the outro to make it the outro of the video in general. It’s a nice aesthetic piece to finish the video after concluding your final thoughts.
Cool video, just a few thing I noticed. You used some unverified or just false information (Sonic awakening from what I know was never confirmed to have existed and the submarine thing from Sonic Adventure 2 was just an example of what a branching story mechanic might have looked like with no work being actually done on it). I don't think that lot of things included in this video fall under lost media and are more facts about a game's development (different original names for Shadow and Rouge) or just things that were planned to be made but never were like the movies you talked about i.e there was nothing made for them, so there's no lost content. Also, you could have used more images to illustrate what you're talking about (show concept art for Shadow or the original Sonic movie design). Lastly, the 3 minute outro only has like 20 seconds of you talking.
@@prokeikas7284 Thank you! Most of information I found was on either the lost media wiki or general sonic forums. The 3 minute outro was going to be sorter but I forgot to cut down before exporting. Sorry!
I think the editing needs work, I don't know if this was intentional but there are many moments where the video is just the same clips from earlier in the video but with no narration and it takes up a lot of the video, especially in the outro. Nice video all in all
This is great just because of your voice, and the style. It's not fully polished yet, but feels like a documentary from those old tapes, most likely wht you were going for, but it's just great. Thank for this vid, mate
Not to sound rude, but there are a bunch of misconceptions and mistakes in the video, even some that don't need any deep research, but this is not to discourage you nor underestimate your video, it is really well made and I can see you tried your best with research, just as a quick note that you can always improve in future content. Keep it up, dude
I appreciate that at least some of the cancelled Sonic games do have fan remakes trying to recreate them in a playable form. It's cool to see how they might've turned out! I hope that all of the cancelled Sonic games will get similar fan remakes to the Sonic Xtreme and Mars ones (aka remakes trying to recreate the gameplay footage faithfully and expanding upon it with new levels based on the concept art).
Not a bad video at all, but I have to say most of it is not lost media. If something was scrapped and never made it out of a concept phase, it's not lost media. Can't lose what doesn't exist. So the video ends up being mostly trivia about never finished sonic project. That ain't a bad thing in itself, and like I said the video is still good, but it is something to keep in mind if you want to talk about lost media
Great video my only problem I just hate that when it’s transitioning to the next segment the music has to fade out /finish first that it feels like wasting time at least to me
