@@BlackDisneyPrincess no, but it could be an interesting idea. That said due to royalties involved concerning Amy Adams likeness and how rotoscoping worked in the animated films...most likely not happening.
Found the offical Ariel answer “Ariel was originally meant to be a Princess of Heart, but in order for her to be captured by Maleficent, the story portion of Ursula giving her legs would have had to take place first. It was already too late in production to add this, so the producers chose Alice as a Princess of Heart, which garnered fan outrage, due to not staying true to the Disney Princesses. However, after finding out the troublesome production of the game, the fans forgave the game developers.” - IMDB
The fans really shouldn't have been that upset though, Alice was a regular guest at the time in the Princess lineup and since KH1 was released in 2004 they technically already had two other options since this was pre-removal of Tink and Esmeralda when introduced. I mean if Ariel, Tink and Mulan are on the "let's go kick some rears" squad, why not pick from the two most frequent guests after selecting Esmeralda as an option for Princess of Heart so whether it was Alice or Meg either or would be a huge W...and Meg would have appreciated the rescue (after claiming she didn't need it first, then mentioning having "weak ankles")
I can see Raya getting caught up in a similar situation as Davy Jones's chest in KH3 where the baddies don't realize she's the princess of a literal place called Heart and not the metaphorical heart.
@@TheCartoonBaffoon I had a similar thought about Mirabel from Encanto getting the "they think she's one" treatment, only for her to be ordinary. Like you said it could potentially conflict with her character arc to be one or whatever, and this would be a nice fake out for the audience and also give us an excuse to include her world.
Someone had a theory about Kairi's role in the story! She's the girl who doesn't want to grow up. She's scared of change as she told us at the beginning of KH1 and it's been reinforced through the other games. So her story is confronting the fact that nothing will ever be the same again, there is no going back to the days of her Sora and Riku being carefree on Destiny Islands.
Sofia would be to OP as a Disney princess. No seriously with her skills, magic amulet, enchantlet, and general competence give her the power of light and she’s unstoppable
honestly as a kid i HATED the fact that my favorite disney princess was in the game but wasn’t a princess of heart but now that i’m older I much prefer Ariel having the distinction of being the first princess/woman party member and the only woman party member in KH1 as well. She’s much more special than the princesses of heart.
I personally am still a little salty about it (not to the extent of rage, just mildly annoyed). She would have been one of three Princess of Heart who actually show combat prowess alongside Elsa and Kairi. Oh well. It is what it is.
I love the concept of the Princess of Heart. A group of women who fundamentally regulate the light of the universe by merely existing. I just wish they had more to do, especially Kairi.
There is one key piece of evidence that could easily prove kairi is a royal princess. When she says goodbye to aqua in birth by sleep kairi does a royal curtsy. And yes there is a drastic difference. Here is a noble woman’s curtsy: They grab the side of the skirt. And then they bend at the hip performing a bow. A royal curtsy is different. They stiffen their back, stand up straight. Reach down without bending to grab the side of their skirt. Then they slightly bend their knees. Creating the illusion of their head bowing.
My big hope with Kingdom Hearts 4 is that they bring the Council of Disney Villains back. With the Princesses of Heart relevant again and Maleficent having the chance to be just as relevant as she was in KH1 thanks to the Black Box this is the perfect chance to bring back the council, bringing a few returning villains back and rearranging the roster to reflect the villains Disney have created since KH1
Never even considered why Ursula just decided to ignore the plan after doing that big mystery villains council thing at HB, the Ariel-Alice swap observation seems valid.
I think it'd be really funny if Raya does end up in KH4 only for the writers to reuse the plot element with Vexen from the Caribbeans in 3, where he thought Davy Jones' chest contained his "KH definition" heart rather than his actual "human" heart. Let's say Maleficent or MoM and Foretellers are seeking the new Seven and they hear of a world with *A* princess of heart only for it to fall outside of their understanding of the term.
My justification for Ariel's exclusion is that she does make a deal with ursula (TWICE in kh canon). A metaphorical deal with the devil. So she MAY have some darkness in her. I can see it. Also I'd prefer if elsa wasnt a princess (even tho shes heavily implied to be). You already summarized the bulk of my issue (she def FEELS like she has darkness. Shes the riku to Anna's sora/kairi). But also... dammit just throw Anna a bone! Let Anna be special for once! A northuldran married a human prince and one of their daughters became this 5th elemental spirit of ice meant to bring balance to the world and the other is... just a normal person with no power????? Let her have that cool light magic destiny. Then elsa can just be her protector. The aladdin or Phillip
There's no way they're gonna exclude Tiana from becoming a Princess of Heart. She's very popular and modern enough for a new gen of seven hearts. Her story also blends in well with adding Dr. Facilier as a villain as he can command shadows, which basically he can summon Heartless at his will. I don't think they'd add Princess Leia to the seven hearts because she'd just stick out like a sore thumb against all of the animated princesses. I guess we'll only find out in KH4 or Missing Link though, but it'll most likely be Kairi, Rapunzel, Elsa, Anna, Moana, and Tiana. The last member would be a toss between Merida, Raya, or Mirabel.
I think Mirabel has a good shot of being a Princess of Heart. Look at Alice. By herself, she wasn't anything special. Her special powers as a Princess of Heart only matter when they're gathered together. In the movie, Mirabel herself isn't special, it is her love of her family and desire to support them that makes her special. Besides, by the end of Encanto, Mirabel is hinted at inheriting the miracle. The argument there could be that Abuela was a princess and Mirabel inherited her light. It could be something they could also do with Kairi and her own grandmother and could explain why both Elsa and Anna are qualified to be princesses.
I agree. I think that the other 3 should be a mixture of Vanellope, Tiana, Mirabel, and/or Moana. Those are the only four characters that I think Disney would actually choose to fill in the other 3 spots.
love the video so far its also worth noting though, alice IS technically a princess at least in the alice in wonderland books themselves, and she was meant to become one by the end of the movie as well, she also has been sparsely included in some disney princess brands alongside marie from the aristocats, besides esmeralda and tink theyre EASILY the weirdest "members"
I initially thought that Megara from ‘Hercules’ was a part of the original Disney Princess line-up and got dropped. By all accounts in my book, she should be considered a princess, because… A) She ends up with the son of the king of Gods. B) She was indeed a princess in the original myth C) Her voice actress is Susan Egan, who did the role of Belle originally on Broadway. All I’m saying is that if Esmeralda could initially fit into the princess line-up, and if Mulan is still qualified to be in the line-up to this day, then I don’t see any reason for Meg not to be!
Heard your whole rant about why Ariel wasn't a Princess of Heart. I too believe that she's a better candidate than Alice and so here is a revised version of KH 1 that reflects that. The changes I’d make to keep the story consistent with this “What If?” scenario are as follows. First and most importantly Atlantica is now required to access Hollow Bastion to keep the story consistent by having Sora visit all of the worlds of the recently captured Princesses. Now in terms of the story, the cutscene with Alice being shown in Hollow Bastion after being kidnapped will be extended for Maleficent to then dismiss her saying something along the lines of “This isn’t one of the girls we’re looking for. I’ll have him return her.” and the scene would end before Riku enters to save the surprise of him working for Maleficent until Traverse Town 2. However due to other more important tasks, Maleficent just keeps Alice around until the appropriate time to return her, i.e. after the opening of the final keyhole. That way when Alice does eventually return it doesn’t leave that story thread unknown to Sora, since as far as he’d know she is still missing and is looking for her. Next, I’d base the story content in Atlantica on a combination of sorts, with the original story and the one in The Little Mermaid. Yes, that means that the KH 2 version of Atlantica doesn’t exist in this version of the series, and I’m also not going to bother giving it a replacement since it serves as a mini-game world and is kinda redundant with the 100 Acre Wood in the same game and also KH 2 has the most worlds out of every game in the series so not much is lost by removing one slot entirely. However instead of just using Ariel as a bargaining chip with Triton to give her the trident to take over the kingdom, she can also use him to reveal the location of the keyhole. Pretty much when we’re dropped in Atlantica it’s during the storm in the movie and Sora, Donald, and Goofy are watching Ariel save Prince Eric from afar. After Eric comes to she dives back into the water and this is when the group meets for the first time. Their meeting is just like how they meet in the original game also with heading to the palace to which the conversation with Trition is also the same. However, instead of afterward going to the sunken ship to find the Crystal Trident, Ariel leads the gang to where Flounder has found the statue of the Prince, and on the way she relates to them about her feelings for Eric. Just like in the movie Ursula is viewing Ariel from her lair. When they arrive back at the grotto with the statue the conversation between Ariel and Sora is the same as the original game with Trition then coming in and destroying the statue, Ariel leaves, and he gives Sora the speech about not meddling in the affairs of other worlds. While this is going on Ariel has been drawn to Ursula’s lair like in the movie, except Flotsam and Jetsam visit her in the sunken ship area. In the lair Ursula offers Ariel a deal similar to in the movie except instead of three days she gives her until sundown the following day. Sora, Donald, and Goofy concerned for Ariel go looking for her and see fumes coming from a dark place which they come to investigate with Sebastian and Flounder. However, they arrive right at the moment that Ariel has already signed the contract, and working together the five haul her to the surface. Skipping ahead to sundown the following day Ariel and Eric are on the same boat from “Kiss the Girl” but before they get to kiss it is too late and Flotsam and Jetsam tip the boat and grab a reverted to a mermaid Ariel and drag her away. Sora, Donald, and Goofy witness this and go to Eric to help look for her. Meanwhile, the scene from the movie where Ursula gets Triton to take her deal plays out, although since all she promised was that Ariel wouldn’t be harmed she can still technically through the mermaid through a dark corridor. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Eric still in the dingy on the surface arrive just as Ursula grows to a massive size to defeat SDG and carry on her mission to access the keyhole. From here SDG fights Ursula by attacking her tentacles, and after depleting her HP a cutscene plays where Ursula staggers as Sora then strikes her hands holding the trident causing it to drop allowing Eric to use it as a javelin and throws it through Ursula just like in KH 2. Upon her defeat, Trition and the rest of the polyps return to their form. Before returning back under the water SDG promises Eric that they will find Ariel. When they return to Trition he says his apologies and also realizes the error in his ways of thinking as all humans as savages. To help SDG on their quest he reveals to them that the world’s keyhole is in Ariel’s Grotto and in thanks, the group in return promises that they will return his daughter home safely. And that’s where the changes mostly end other than Ariel being present in Hollow Bastion in one of the crystals to contain her and when the Princesses are freed she is sitting in a tub for the time being, with an option text bubble dialogue piece when talking to her upon returning to Hollow Bastion mentioning how she finds it uncomfortable but that it’s at least nice to speak again, which in this timeline the shell used to contain Ariel’s voice was broken upon Ursula’s defeat. Alice will also have optional dialogue in a text bubble where she expresses how she is in some way flattered by being mistaken for a princess. You might also wonder how I’d change the story inside Atlantica in Chain of Memories to fit with this new story. My answer is that I wouldn’t make any changes since the stories of the worlds in this game don’t always line up similarly to their KH 1 counterparts, especially Hollow Bastion. Also, I guess I should mention before moving on that Ariel’s name will replace Alice’s in the password for the Door to Darkness Datascape.
I don’t think the issue with Kairi’s characterization has *anything* to do with how “light” she is. She’s shown the capacity for what I guess you might call “dark” traits before- the real issue with her is a matter of framing and focus- I.e the games are almost always pushing her out of any spotlight or framing her as more of an object than a subject. It’s less a matter of “Kairi’s too goody two-shoes to be interesting” and more “the narrative refuses to utilize or contextualize Kairi’s character in interesting ways.”
I feel like with Elsa she's pushing people away because she's afraid of causing harm. She can't control her ice powers and doesn't want to hurt anyone, especially her sister Anna. Maybe because her intent is well meaning and feels that her leaving Arendelle was the noble and right thing to do.
I think the difference between Elsa in a big degree is she had powers that could hurt people through her emotions. If another princess had powers that they couldn't control I feel like they could've also accidentally hurt someone though your point does still stand since she tried to kill people in the movie. But yeah idk I think jasmine or Ariel or hell aurora could have accidentally hurt someone if their emotions wend haywire
I think to understand who is going to be the princesses of light, you have to learn to speak Disney’s language, and that language is called capitalism. So of course Moana is a lock in, they need to promote her, she has a sequel and a live action remake coming out. I personally also think Tiana is a lock in, she has that new ride at Disney World and a Disney plus series coming. And other than that, maybe Mirabel has a decent shot, Encanto made them so much cash. The only thing against her is that she isn’t actually a Disney Princess, and compared to 2002, when KH1 came out, today, Disney has the Princess brand strapped so tight by the balls. There is a reason why Mirabel hasn’t been inducted into that brand, I don’t know what that is, but it’s been a while since Encanto came out, and she hasn’t been inducted into that brand. So considering this, I think the third might be either Mulan or Ariel, since they’ve been with that brand since the beginning.
Yeah, I suspect that the other ones would be either Moana, Tiana, Mulan, Ariel, Mirabel or even Lilo (because Stitch's insane popularity in Japan and the fact there's a new live action movie coming out next year).
Thanks for the description. If there is to be more new Princesses, I like to suggetion characters like Lilo, Moana (because popular reasons), and Cinderella's reformed stepsister Anastasia. Of course, my question is why have the other princesses gave up their light roles and not Kairi?
I've thought about this solid idea for a Kairi game where she goes through Princess of Heart worlds, and it could either be DDD-styled where she's doing ones from the past (though this would be repeating many worlds and they'd have to be reworked) or use the new princesses, or even a little of both following along the timeline of changing Princesses and maybe even showing us a non-disney predecessor or something. Either way it would be about her reconnecting with her abilities as a princess and finding her motivation to get stronger etc etc. It could use a lot of your ideas here on how they're chosen for their roles and showcasing how their powers might work. Most importantly it gives Kairi focus and character development.
I was today years old when I found out that Anna and Elsa aren’t official Disney princesses. Especially with their inclusion in media like Wreck It Ralph 2. It’s weird to know that they aren’t
As a Star Wars fan Leia would be a hilarious choice. Imagine if she got to sit in that Wreck it Wralph 2 princess room and brough up how she choacked a giant slug guy with his own chains that he was using to keep her a "pleasure" slave.
My headcanon for the princesses giving sora firaga is that they are just giving him a boost of power and his most natural element is fire, its his first spell and tho shiro amano doesnt speak canon, I believe in one of the Mangas donald says his strangest element is fire or smth
@@cyrielleglbrt1044 to be fair, I don’t think we can judge a film getting into KH due to that cause Tron nor Tron Legacy were “successful” financially. There’s also straight to dvd movies like three musketeers. I think it just depends on the melding of stories
@yourboysnowden6896 yeah you're right actually! To be honest I think I'm just not able to envision characters like Raya or Asha and their worlds getting in the kh franchise because I don't imagine them as being the first options they would go to. But yeah with worlds like Tron and three musketeers, and even timeless river and Fantasia that are less obivious choices, you're right, the popularity of the movie as of it is nowadays doesn't really matter to exist in kh
@@cyrielleglbrt1044 when u saw Raya in theaters I leaned over to my fiance and said “this is destined for kingdom hearts.” I can also see Wish cause Magnifico would be a dope boss battle and someone that would clash with Sora so, I’d welcome it personally of course
i can't believe it took three years for moana to be officially a disney princess, meaning she missed out on being a princess pre-kh3 launch despite her movie coming out in 2016. insane.
Ven is a pure heart, in union cross we find that out and he fuses with one of the Darkness (who will become Vanitus). So the darkness in his heart wasn’t originally his in the first place.
To be fair, I don’t think they just realized it, I think they didn’t quite have enough princesses to really make a line-up. You really want a full house there. They need a Disney Heroine line up too. Mulan, Pocahontas, Esmeralda. We also need Disney Prince!
I always believe the line of: “A princess of heart has no darkness.” Is a big fat the size of Australia with Mount Everest load of RED HERRING! Here is a fact. Curses need the target to have darkness within them to latch onto.
it's kinda shame that the evil queen, gaston and cruella de vil didn't join maleficent's disney villains council since snow white, belle & the beast and pongo, perdita & the puppies are already in the first game
I can propose one flaw for Kairi, at least in KH1- she's very secretive! When Sora asks her if she remembers anything about her original world, Kairi says she doesn't remember. The way she is framed, with her eyes obscured, is a Japanese cinematography technique to imply that the person is closed off. She does, in fact, remember her original world, but refuses to tell her friends of 9 years. And before the trio sets sail, Kairi tries to convince Sora that they should leave without Riku because he's changing, implying that she can sense his growing darkness. I wish other KH games explored this aspect of her, as it has a lot of character arc potential!
Esmeralda nor Tinkerbell were ever offical princesses. They were special guest character much like Jane or Alice. There was a chance they would be included but it was never offical at any point. They were more or less like how Elsa and Anna are now, frequent guests. The only one who was at all close was Tinkerbell who was considered the mascot for the princesses until she got her own franchise
7:50 Yzma isn’t too far behind as far as Disney Villains franchise representation goes, I like to think of her as the honorary 14th member, Special mention goes to Shere Khan, Governor Radcliffe, & Frollo who also get represented a decent amount. Also Madame Mim if we’re going by Comics representation
Yeah this is why the villains lineup is so hard to pinpoint, characters like the ones you pointed out plus a myriad of others do get grouped in with different Disney Villains appearances. I know Yzma and Ratcliffe were used in the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom group, Frollo is part of Fantasmic, hell, even Pete feels like a big snub. The 13 I listed, while they are the most commonly used, is very much an arbitrary selection.
I think what constitutes as darkness in Kingdom Hearts is willingly giving into being a bad person. There is a narrative of darkness itself in kingdom hearts being misunderstood and given its evil nature by those who abuse it like Xehanort. Riku shows that darkness can be used for good as long as it’s controlled. Terra was someone who had to be manipulated into fully giving into darkness. Sure his insecurities did give in at the beginning of the game but it’s not like every time he was upset he used dark powers then he would’ve shown darkness at radiant garden when arguing with Ven and Aqua. Terra shows his darkness when pushed to extreme limits such as Ven being put at risk and Eraqus dying. The Disney princesses themselves deal with upsetting situations such as their parents dying. Cinderella’s mother died and she probably felt upset over it at some point. Even Sora only gets his dark forms when either abusing the light (drive forms) or when he’s in a critical situation (rage form) I also assume Sora didn’t show any darkness in the keyblade graveyard because he was upset seeing his friends die rather than willingly choosing the darkness for some reason. Kh does say everyone has darkness but Mickey has a much better time handling it than Xehanort did which is why ones good and the other is evil
Pocahontas totally deserves to be in KH in the future. And the nice thing about being in Kingdom Hearts is that it’s not always about following the story of the movie exactly. So this would be a great opportunity rewrite some things and just make her a part of the Kingdom Hearts universe.
Leia is certainly not gonna be picked just due to studio or likeness rights. Too many hurdles would need to be jumped if she had to make minor appearances with the other princesses together later in the series. Besides, Tiana is just a shoo-in for the position at this point.
Normally I’d agree with you in regards to the likeness rights, but because it’s Star Wars I suspect it’ll be used in more than one game anyway, so I expect Leia’s gonna be around long-term.
I genuinely think Nomura regrets Kairi’s inclusion, she was at least more fully defined in the first 3 games but then just became NOTHING and got even more sidelined as time went on.
My theory as to why Alice is a princess of heart over Ariel is for the visual of three blondes- Cinderella, Aurora and Alice with three brunettes- Snow White, Belle and Jasmine and then one redhead with Kairi. I just assumed it was a colour coding design choice
I heard that Esmeralda was taken out of the princess franchise because unlike the other princesses, Esmeralda was not as popular and her products did not sell as much.
I always wished this storyline carried more weight; after KH2, the original story made the Disney aspects feel like side content, and in KH3, the new 7 Hearts didn't end up mattering anyway. I always questioned how they chose the original 7 Hearts--and WHY Ventus isn't among the 7 Hearts despite literally having all his darkness seperated from him.
I’m hoping the other 3 princesses end up being Vanellope (due to the importance of her world in Union Cross), Moana (due to her popularity at this point), and I’d like to see the final one be Tiana. Once all new members are known, then I think that Square should go into why Kairi is the only one who stayed a PoH (despite being the only KH character that is also a PoH character).
I would find it Interesting if Anna and Elsa counted as one. Not only would that make space for an extra princess, but a good hinder in plot. Like hey we have Anna protected, Woops the Enemy has Elsa and can use her as a substitute anyways. Etc.
You're actually not that far off with your Ariel theory. The creators have come out and said that Ariel was originally going to be a Princess of Heart, but when they decided her story would be a prequel to the movie, they couldn't think of a good reason to have her suddenly be human after she was taken to Hallow Bastion
I wish we could see more of the Disney fairy lore. It was so good and cute at the same time. There’s a lot of content KH could use post-KH3 and I’m very here for it.
I think my main issue with the New Princess of Heart is that they set them up only really as a backup plan for Xehanort, but that just makes me ask why are they the backup plan and not the main plan? Why risk failing when you have the opportunity to get all seven princess and just make the X-Blade.
I presume it’s because they don’t where all of them are, they are actively looking for them. The Guardians of Light managed to gather before they happened to locate all Seven New Hearts.
@@TheCartoonBaffoon If only Xehanort had an opportunity to delay Sora and Riku for a long period of time and managed to acquire Kairi before she got invited by Yen Sid to join the Guardians. Oh well, I guess if he wasn't so obsessed with making Sora the thirteenth member of the Organization he might of actually ben able to do the princess plan without interruption.
Im goana be entierly honest the only new Princess of Heart from Frozen should have been Anna. Elsa let your sister have her moment for ONCE in your life
I love your video! Your explanation about everything made sense and I can understand your reasoning for the princesses I didn’t really understand why Alice was put as the (in my own words) Gen 1 princesses of light Best reason was because of her immense innocence and curiosity was what made her a contender and main vessel for one of the lights And maybe why Ariel wasn’t chosen (in story) was she and Alice both possessed the same traits and the power of light decided to go to Alice more As for Elsa I could say in a way is still innocent even when she done bad. She still cares and has love. I think a person only becomes a “heartless” is they abandoned all “goodness” from themselves, turned to evil by their own choice or is naturally evil and does not care about others
I feel like if(hopefully when) Kairi gets her own game, after getting some training from Aqua, she’ll meet and befriend her fellow Princesses of Heart(past and present) by traveling to their worlds and looking her family history in Radiant Garden. As for Cruella de vil and Dr. Facilier: The locations in "101 Dalmatians” wouldn’t exactly work as it's own world in KH, but perhaps if they bring back Traverse Town where the Dalmatians were gathered in KH1, Kairi could face off against Cruella. Whose obsession with those dogs has turned her into a Boss Heartless(maybe as early boss like Sora had to face there alongside Donald and Goofy) Dr. Facilier is easier to work with, though maybe add Maleficent being involved. Depending if they do a Post movie adventure like some other past Disney Worlds.
I certainly hope they'll reveal Vanellope to be Princesses of Heart in a future KH title (if they continue to use the plot point to begin with, because basically it just adds a little more complexity to the already astonishing complex KH storyline(. Maybe 4, maybe something before... but something, if there are empty slots to fulfill... that'll be her time to really shine. Regardless, with how much attention her and the others have been getting in other Disney media (Lorcana, the Gameloft games [Speedstorm and Dreamlight Valley], as well as even huge potential with the Fortnite collaboration), she is BOUND to make her in game appearance in a full fledged 3D KH game as soon as possible. 🌌
Raya and the last dragon is a good movie however I disagree with the actions. The story punishes her for not trusting when SHE HAS A PERFECTLY GOOD ENOUGH REASON NOT TO TRUST ANYONE! Due to trusting she lost her father and her home.
I think Elsa's case isn't true darkness. Darkness in KH seems to manifest as "evil" or "malice". Elsa may have sicced Marshmellow on her sister and Kristoph and accidently hurt Anna by freezing her heart but you'd have to stretch REALLY hard to find any form of malice or evil in her actions. Her powers are influenced by her emotions and she had a lot of baggage. Even Mickey mentions that darkness in and of itself isn't really evil either. It's how it's used that causes harm. It's easier to abuse. Sort of like the Force. The Dark Side merey exists but isn't evil. It's how its used by the Sith (or presented by the Jedi) that gives it its reputation. But we've see instances of Jedi tapping into the Dark Side without falling to it. Mace Windu is the most famous example. His combat style, Vaapad, brings him very close to the Dark Side but he remains firmly in the light. I know Jackson wanted a purple lightsaber so he could stand out but the original lightsaber colors were red and blue (green exists for one reason out-of-universe). Combine the two and you get purple, a balanced light/dark color.
If Alice in wonderland could come back they should use the Tim Burton Alice in wonderland I think it would be amazing to see Sora Donald and Goofy reunite with Alice now older!
Valid argument on Esmeralda 3:07 but you should also acknowledge how her movie was the only Disney film, period To include racial slurs. So they had every right to remove Esmeralda.
1.airel was going to be princess of heart but inorder for to be kidnapped they had to give legs which they had to change kh1 atlantica storyline they have it more 1989 film they must been to far in developing the game to change it or would ruin plot of 1989 film if they did kh2 so they had to find replacement and somewhat choose alice to replacement 2.kairi isn't actual princess I think princess of heart is just a name since 5 of them were actual princess or keyblade master thought pure being inside princess to some evidence proving it and name stuck sound way better than seven pure hearts/lights 3.even though alice & kairi aren't true princess the fact is cinderella & belle weren't princess by birth but by marriage
Actually, Star Wars came from the purchase of Lucasfilm, not Fox. That said, totally should’ve brought up Anastasia in the final rundown of characters, totally blanked on that lol.
I think there's is more behind Ariel not being one. Ariel's heart wasn't exactly pure. From what I'm aware of, the princesses of heart were always kind to others no matter. Ariel on the other hand was mean to her dad and Sebastian (while they had good intentions) and she even trusted Ursula more than them. Just my guess. And to answer extra equestion - I think the reason Triton knows about keyblade, etc. is because most of Keyblade Masters are humans (Mickey is probably the only one who isn't) and Triton hates them. I answer that cause that was never explained in the series how he knows all of that.
Why not Elena and Sofia? They are literal magical princesses that are combat ready and would make the best teammates to fight along side Sora (or whoever is available). Look at their last chapter power ups and skills.
ngl when they said there were new princesses of heart to replace the original 7 in 3, I thought that was the dumbest decision. Like, they didn't want to acknowledge older Disney movies anymore, they focus now on the newer properties. It felt like a decision built on lazy convenience to help the plot push on. Kairi is still magically a princess of heart though. idk it just really rubbed me the wrong way. Why bother getting to interact with/rescue the princesses of heart if they're just going to be replaced?
I'm sorry, but how dare you put Atta, a freaking ANT, above Sofia and Elena. I know they're not movie princesses, but Elena had her own coronation at Disney, and Sofia not only fits the criteria as a pure light, but she can even hold her own thanks to her amulet. They just need to set it in, or after season 4 of Sofia, so she can also have her Protector tools like her Enchantlet. Sofia and Elena kick butt, and I WILL not stand for this disrespect! 😤
It would have been neat if each of the villains were the villains from the princesses’ movie. I would want to keep Ursula have have Ariel be a princess instead of Alice. Although I’m not sure if Lady Tremaine and Gaston would really work. The evil queen would. Maybe they could recruit some newer Disney villains like Dr. Facilier. I’m not sure if Mother Gothel or Hans would work.
So I’ve been wondering this for a while and I’m curious to hear what you think, but by definition, wouldn’t Ventus also be a Princess (technically Prince) of Heart?
I’d personally say no. As I said in the video, the Princesses of Heart seem to all be naturally occurring pure lights while Ventus is only a pure light cuz his darkness was removed. Ven is effectively an anomaly in this world which to an extent is more fun than just being an eighth princess.
@@TheCartoonBaffoon well I think that would make Ventus a Shang technically. If the Princesses must be like the classic lineup (which caps at Mulan for the Excellent Eight) so to would the Princes cap at Shang. Ven is a Prince of Heart, but in a manner to how Shang...and either John (preferablly Rolfe, even though both aren't exactly nice guys) are. The core idea is of course that they must have the qualities that Jonathan Charming, Auguste Charming (seriously Snow Prince and Prince Charming have many names and even share the Charming one, they're probably brothers.) and Philip do...or be more like rennaissance Princes. I think Ven's hinted at as being similar to Jonathan though considering he took a bite of the apple and went to bed.
