illegal rock harvesters have invaded Watamu. They are even quarrying under the new Watamu- Malindi highway, behind Jacaranda Beach Hotel near and probably under the safaricom masts and across access roads. In a few days, they leave unsuspecting people's plots with gaping quarries. They are spoiling the beauty of the place.

So beautiful. Once inside, you wouldn't want to leave the villa. Hapo kwa kuku is right opposite the former Mbuyu Resort. They often start cooking after 6 pm.

They charge 17k per night during low season and 27k per night during high season. The beach is a walking distance from the villa. I find the rate friendly considering its location, beauty, and close proximity to various attractions and amenities.

Hello, @Peleqetelo8734. 1. That must be the acacia tree. 2. The name Baobab was derived from Arabic but has long been adapted to the English language. In Swahili we call it "Mbuyu" 3. In Swahili "ki" has numerous functions. In your context, it is used to denote the name of a language. E.g. Kiarabu (Arabic), Kifaransa (French), Kiingereza (English), Kichina (Chinese language), Kiswahili (Swahili) e.t.c.
