Just bought the Amica CDX 1.1L model 2007, 12 mths MOT, just been serviced, only done 19,000 miles, cambelt changed at 15,500 miles. Nippy little car, starts 1st time, easy to park a bargain at £3495. Nice little run around.
MF57ZVC was still on the road as at October 2020, when it passed its MOT at 61,067 miles. Generally not my cup of tea, however this one was a little cracker when this video was made when it had only done 15,000 miles, and for a cute, fun and different little runaround to look after I may well have parted with the cash!
Except it does have abs, it does have an airbag, and if u consider it costs from 5k new, yeah it may not have sip but it has more stuff (luxuries) than a 2013 vw take up. It has electric windows in the front, up has windy ones. Rear windows go down. Up has pop outs. It has central locking, in the up you have to go round every door from the inside. Yet its half the price? Think about it and really the volkswagen up is the car that costs 2x as much. Ur only paying for the vw name and the safety. But then again ur not in a crash every year. You'd be unlucky to have one in a decade.
@@jasongillblox You have a point about the VW Up and Hyundai Atos. But Atos was released around 2006ish? in my country. Where I guess VW Up was released around 2013? Also Hyundai Atos was released as a very basic and one of the cheapest cars here in South Africa so I guess they didn't come with any airbag, ABS or SIP here
Also the VW Up was kind of a premium car here as it was a VW. Kia Picanto and some other developing nations vehicles were in the Atos segment here around the time it was being sold.
@@SherwinR89 oh ok. In the UK it was released around 1999 but updated in 2006. The engine is also more powerful than the up's. The up has a 1.0 naturally aspirated 59 bhp engine. Amica has 1.1 naturally aspirated engine with 69 bhp.
