So sorry about your dog, my best thoughts are going towards her, you and your family. She sure had a nice life with you all, I hope you can accompany her far a while longer. You taking a day off is so much more busy than me taking a day off ...
I’m curious …do you always speak english at home or just when you’re recording a video? What languages do you speak? I was thinking Greek would be the main language in Cyprus. cool to see you do pullups! ❤to your sweet dog!
I speak Serbian, English, Greek (Cypriot dialect) and French, although I haven't used French in years so I lost most of it. At home, we speak English as my husband was born and raised in London and that is my kids' first language. ❤️
Oh Ivana, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. I'm sending you so much heartfelt love to you and your family. Take all the time you need to look after yourself. Family comes first. I'm thinking of you. Much love, Lucy 🧡
Do you think it’s possible your dog got into some resin .I HAVE 4 dogs ,1 was having minor surgery ,and they had to discontinue the surgery because of her age ,so i know what it’s like to care for aging dogs .THEY ARE INQUISITIVE and before you know it they can get into things ,I,m hoping your dog gets well soon ,they are family and we love our furry friends
Ivana, we had a dog with vestibular ataxia and P.R.A (eyes), she had a fairly normal life for a few years with medication. I hope that your dog will still be able to spend some time with you. I wish you all the strength, even if you have to make that difficult decision to end her suffering. Love Lily🌸
Im so sorry to hear about your pressures dog I totally understand we have just lost our beautiful dog Pierre we had him for 14 yrs We miss him so much 😢
Praying your dog hopefully rallies ❤ At that age I wouldnt risk an anaesthetic. If she stops drinking it will be a sign. Sending love and thinking of you all.
I'm so sorry for your dog. It's hard when pets get sick. We lost our 5 year old lab to a brain tumor a couple of years ago. It was so fast after she starting showing symptoms. All I can say is to just comfort him and love him.
Oh Ivana, I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. I feel for you as I too am in the midst of some major health issues with my fur baby. 🥺 Take all the time that you need. Sending best wishes, thoughts, prayers and hugs your way! 💕💖
One of my dogs had vestibular disease at 13 and totally recovered in about one month. Lived a good life for two more years. Thinking of you and hoping for a quick recovery for her.
So sorry to hear your news. What I learnt with a very ill animal with a neurological issue was having two opinions where the vets debated the options - this helped us with options. And turned the second lot of ideas were most helpful. Wishing you the best and that the dog can rest and be comfortable. X❤
Our pets become an extension of our family. The relationship becomes reciprocal. We need them as much as they do us. Their love is totally unconditional. All that said this period of time as stressful as it is becomes a sacred space in the daily routine where both can share in the blessing of having had each other on life’s journey and honor it simply with our presence. Thanks for sharing this time with us. ❤ Etoyle
It is very distressing when our furry babies fall ill. I hope it will pass and many happy years are coming for you together! x We recently lost our 20 years old cat Macika, and I find so much comfort looking at your black and white kitty, often accompanying you on the sofa. Absorbing his so familiar colours.
Oh Ivana , so sorry to hear this...I am sending positive vibes and healing ones too. Strength and hang in there!! Just try to be with her all the time... it's healing for both of you and feel good plus positive energy..❤
So sorry to hear about your dog. When our dog was 15 (yes, he was super old), he had a vestibular attack that sounds exactly like what you are describing-especially the eyes moving side to side. It was super scary, and I slept on the floor with him for about four days. We thought he had a stroke, but it was his inner ear. The vet gave him anti-nausea medication so that he could eat, and he mostly recovered after about two weeks. Good luck.
Ivana, sending hugs and healing prayers for your beloved pet dog. It's so very sad that our pets leave us so soon. Give her lots of love and snuggles. She may get better💕
My dog, Lulu, also had a vestibular disease. Same thing - one morning, she lost her balance, her eye is going sideways, she started vomiting and unable to eat. My Frecnh bulldog was 5 years old. She recovered from it but the damage to her right eye is permament. She is back to normal. So be strong Ivana. Dogs do recover. I know how hard it is.
Hello Ivana, it's always a pleasure to see you, take care of your puppy, you don't owe us a weekly video, I feel your pain, I have a pug, she is 16, I keep wondering how much longer she will go on, just take care and we will see you when you are ready, sending you hugs ❤
I'm so sorry your dog isn't well. I lost a puppy a month ago and it's heartbreaking. Two of our dogs are 8 year old German Shepherds and one is starting to have trouble with their hips and the other has vision and teeth problems. It's hard to watch your babies deal with that. I just give them all extra loving. I'm glad your baby is eating again. That's the best sign.
It struck me as I watched this episode, that we can be having a good time and then life changes too suddenly. That I need to pay more attention when it’s an ordinary and good day. ❤ Take care dear lady.
I too have a very lived aging pup in my life, she is not in good health...very sad. There is enough sadness in life, I don't enjoy tuning in for a knitting vlog only to hear more sadness. Surly your family could give you all the comfort you need at this time.
I am sorry about your dog Karen and hope for full recovery. I also hope that you receive more grace and compassion than you have given me through your comments. Thank you for watching and taking the time to write though.
So sorry to hear about your pup. I realize your blog is your therapy but I enjoy your fiber knitting content. Don't care about your workout or party videos. Knitting is interesting
thank you about Sunny. You are also in luck because youtube has lots of channels that focus only on knitting. This is probably not the place you will enjoy going forward. And no, my vlog is not my therapy.... it is a place where I document the real life with focus on my making, but including other parts of it as well.
