Dr. Adrian Indermaur besides being a genuinely incredibly passionate individual is responsible for the supervision, organization and development of the animal facility including the execution and permission of animal experiments as well as the build up and maintenance of our fish specimen collection at the University of Basel, Switzerland.
He is also involved in preparation and assistance of field-work in Zambia and Cameroon.
In addition to the above duties, I am involved in different research projects in the SalzburgerLab - an particularly in CICHLID~X - dealing with various topics such as genomics, ecological divergence, phylo-geography and taxonomy.
Check out their work here:

Hi Chris! This discussion and interview with the great Dr. Adrian Indermaur is truly interesting. We hosted him several times at our conference and my friends visited his study laboratory at the University of Basel. I have a Michael Naf video conference with him on Lake Tanganyika. Happy Sunday

I'm a new world cichlids guy, and I'm not much in the way of being a scholar. That said, I found this to be extremely interesting. Clearly, the two of you had a good rapport, and his style of talking, even though it was way over my head for the most part, didn't come off as someone talking down to me. Nice job all tge way around.

Really cool topic, and your gust speaker had great knowledge and examples showing what is going on with ichthyology on the African rift lakes.
