Ireland was home for the first 19 years of my life. Since moving to Toronto back in 2017, it had been almost 5 years since I managed to make it back.
It’s funny, when you grow up somewhere, you never never really appreciate it’s beauty. It takes some time away to show you how special it truly is.
It was a breathtaking experience, seeing places I’d known my whole life from a completely different perspective. Kripa and I trekked across beaches, up cliffs, through forests and around bogs with our gear. The weather was challenging at times, but Ireland’s raw and relentless beauty was only amplified by the cold and harsh winter months.
A massive thanks to all my friends and family who made the experience possible.
