According to Toronto designer Cori Halpern, every project starts with something magical. “For this one, it was the drapery fabric because there are so many windows” she says. “It had to be a statement.” The 1660-square-foot unit was a white box until Cori transformed every inch of it with color, pattern, art and mid century-inspired elements.

I would much rather see listed the actual pieces used in the design. And when listing paint colours, please reference the video so we know what colour was used where - colors on a screen don't look the same on different sites/monitors

I like everything but the curtains. I’m glad to see different designs. Oh my this whole place is awesome. That bathroom tile is beautiful so is the bedroom. I would hire this designer. That half bath is so dreamy

This is probably THE best home I have seen till today in house and home videos! It has characters, a soul, life and although it is not my cup of tea, the owner haven't went with this new trend on the market but they followed their heart. Lovely!

Finally! Color, interesting fabric, a bow to the Feminine with the rounded corners and a sense of personality as opposed to all the dreadfully boring all white spaces. My only concern is the 35th floor. Hopefully, they will find a way to stay healthy, grounded and sane at such an unnatural height. All that color is so enlivening! 💐

I love the credenza and the kitchen and the gallery wall and all the furniture. Fantastic! The only thing that feels off for the nature of the space( being a condo) are the drapes. Love the fabric by itself but it looks jarring with the view.

I love what you’ve done. My kitchen cabinets are the same blue and it is my favorite. It doesn’t surprise me that the owners are crazy about it. Kudos for a colorful design and comfortable aesthetic.

Yes! A renovation with gorgeous, beautiful colour. I love English design in fabric and wallpaper and to see them juxtaposed against mid-century design is unexpectedly wonderful! I do not like mid-century all that much as I’m definitely a traditionalist, but I would happily live in this space forever! Just exceptional design!

See, kids... COLOR IS A GOOD THING. This is the first H&H video I've watched in a while, so thank you for finally posting an interesting one. I've sworn off the all white-cream-beige submissions and will no longer subject myself to that sort of boring nonsense. Fear of color has NO place in interior design.

I thought I wasn't going to like it but I do. It is joyful! I would have preferred drapes that were in the color family of that blush pink ottoman or even a creamy white (you don't opt for a floor-to-ceiling window condo like that to be distracted by grand-chic curtains), so my eye would pause before exploring the wicked cool view! And I would have added some white board and batten paneling in the bedroom - the wallpaper is amazing but a wee bit overwhelming.

Mostly love it. Would rather have the drapes graze the floor. Would not have put both sofas with their backs to the view. I don't own a TV, so don't have to orient furniture towards one. What you can do with taste and a ton of money ;o) Regards from Indiana!

I think the designer has a darling personality and I love the credenza in the dining area, but overall it's a little too matchy matchy for me. Especially the matching sofas with matching pillows in the living room area. It feels very designed to me, but I do think the colors are pretty and she uses them well.
