Brian Barretto She's pretty much sealed in Goth culture after dating manson and her attire to match during said relationship. She customised the goth fashion to better fit her vintage needs. I personally love the style almost like a Gothic Pinup girl!
I grew up with gorgeous sisters and I was the ugly sister! I loved that Dita mentioned that. Something to relate with and now I love make up and vintage fashion. I think the whole concept of being able to find a style and art that also helps you feel more confident about yourself made me really relate.
The ambient noise helped alot on the vibe of this interview, yes, it's like listening 2 woman conversation. I ❤️ Dita but omg her lipstick i think is too much red.
Jacquelyn Miller she took care of herself. Took care of her skin and is naturally and beautifully aging. My grandmother, who was from Rome and was a timeless beauty, always told me “take care of your skin and take care your teeth, and when you’re old you’ll thank your younger self”. I listened. I’m 43 now, and have the skin of a person in their 20’s. I naturally have NO wrinkles (I would never have cosmetic surgery). My picture is from 2 yrs. ago so you can see I’ve always taken care of my skin from a young age. Also, at 43, I’ve NEVER had a cavity. Thanks Nanna. Love you forever ❤️
Dita’s story about meeting Lauren BaCall is just the best fangirl moment! I adore how she was like “YAAAAAASSS” to Lauren BaCall interrupting her conversation 😂
She’s so authentic, sweet, classy, and this may sound crazy, but a little shy?? A LADY. A total Lady. And when someone has a lot of long time friends (20 yrs. or more) it says a lot about what kind of person they are. I believe it says a person is loyal, trustworthy, authentic and kind. I have 3 long, long time friends, 2 of which we’ve known each other since kindergarten and the 3rd since we were 3 yrs. old. (So for 40 yrs. now). We’ve been through everything together. Our whole lives. And there are secrets we will all take to our graves 😉
I watched countless interview with Dita… and in each one of them she sounds so chill, warm, authentic. Almost like she’s best friends with the interviewers. I’ve never seen that with anyone else. That’s why she’s a true icon!!!
I like that she actually is shy, & just literally transformed herself for her art & expression...(also the wise words about relationships & getting through the breakups!!)
Love this interview. So much insight and I love her view on things and to hear her talk from experience, she really feels like that big sister I wish I had as a teen :) great job!
well it kinda showed her true skin. most of the time its overexposed so it looks like shes 22. theres no shame in her looking older or having wrinkles. she looks great for her age anyway
I was wondering what astrological sign she is because she’s serious and then throws a laugh in between a sentence which is what I do. Googled her and she’s a libra like me... duh 😂😂😂😂😂
I also grew up with a beautiful and outgoing older sister, and I was the ugly one. I got into vintage fashion for the same reason, I wanted to feel comfortable and beautiful in my own way.
There are specially formulated lipsticks that don't come off easily. I had two or three, years ago, and loved them. :-) Mine were matte, though; not glossy.
Try superstay lipsticks, one of them is Max Factor's Lipfinity. Caution though, because, as they may not leave marks on the glass, they will still go off your lips if you eat oily food. Such lipsticks are good for drinks and dry snacks only. Avoid them and go for nude tones on lips if you are going for dinner, because even a salad may have oil which will dissolve your lipstick and can smudge your lips.
You know she's the one when her go to is fricking Veuve-Clicquot brut. Especially when you're from the region of Champagne, in France. But i would rather go for a good Millésimé Dom Perignon Brut glass for sure.
Alex Rui I think its the logical thing to asume, but I think that probably not. Men prefer other type of sexy - not retro sexy and customish sexy and thats how they see her - thats why there is no men going on her shows except gay men and those dragged there by their girlfriends.
I like that Dita has got a composure, but she still remains expressive somehow. This is what Monica Bellucci lacks in my point of view. On photos she seems so sexy and deep, but when interviewed, she seems a bit boring to me, no spark, too expressionless. Maybe because she's a prominent phlegmatic, I don't know. Dita on the contrary has got that spark in her eyes and energy.
