Forge Road southsea. I lived in forge close when I was a kid. I’m sure that was Steve Parry reversing out of his garden in that pick up with the chair in the back. Seeing the cortina coming through under the old railway bridge too. And notice how many cars there weren’t on the streets. Good times. Great footage. 👍👍👍
Fantastic. I grew up in rhos from 1981. You have got a little footage of my father's workshop next go the hafod club at the top of the Ponciau banks. I learnt to ride a bike there. Thanks.
Half of my family came from Rhos. In the 20s and 30s after the Vauxhall colliery closed Three of my Uncles emigrated to America to work in the car factories in Detroit Michigan and my father the youngest joined the RWF in Wrexham. We used to play on the Plas Power tip on Forge road
