I miss Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, I miss africa, I miss the weather and sunshine. I miss actually living in spacious accommodation lol Europe is very expensive. I miss playing in the pool in the back yard. I miss school days at Arundel and going for sports. I miss the ice cream man! , going shopping with mom and going for holiday at the Victoria Falls. I miss africa.... I miss my home, I miss my old friends. I wish for new younger and fresh leaders and I wish for prosperity for all Zimbabweans. Zimbabwean deserve their old fun lives back.
The way you just made me soooo emotional, surely time moves soooo fast it waits for no one. Yeah home is always the best place to be, but at the end of the day you have to move on asi you always know where to go when the tough gets going.
Please promote Zimbabwe. It's a great country. The media is too harsh when it comes to our country. Our government is corrupt and incompetent but we the people can run a private sector that can be second to none in the southern African region
@@outandaboutwithphil941 i was there a month ago on vacation IT was amazing dident have any problems with anyone what so ever, media dont get clicks by saying good things about Zimbabwe
@@juuk3103 we were there last June on holiday visiting my wife's family, like I said beautiful country, don't know when we'll get back what with the Corona virus
@@thegeneral1297 it's true though...the country has a high unemployment rate and starting a businesses is hard and if do start a business wanting to trade outside the country then it cannot benefit the country or else it's not funded....what a waste
You remind me of my cycling "tours" around the northern surbubs as a youngster too. I lived in Marlborough along Adylinn road and my morning wake up call would be the mooing of dairy cattle from the farm at the end of the road. Westgate shops was a farm as well. Such tranquil and wonderful life it was.
@@Boomslang1 Those were the days! Zim's population has increased dramatically (doubled since independence, and that is not counting the diaspora), so it not surprising that Harare has become more built up with denser traffic.
4real all zimbabweans born and bred there could live like this, we are only abt 14milion population with all our resources used properly abd fairly, every zimba should be comfortable, with good hospitals free to all, free schools, a good social system etc etc theres morecthan enough to go around, Our God Given country of Milk abd Honey, Just hope one day All this will come to Pass.
Brenda M - at least we still have some people who call a spade a spade. Characterizing Zimbabwe as this is a blatant lie that should be dismissed with the contempt it deserves. Thanks, Brenda!
I drove thru here with my cousin in 2013, Its a very large area, its like living in a different country. I wouldn't a houee here in the future, But cash talks here, no mortgage lol
I hope those houses belongs to my brothers and sisters in your own country we cannot let everyone move in on us shyt on us then build their kingdom on our head we must stand as one and rise up against the thieves and murderers who are trampling us under .
This is somewhat confusing. With all the stories about insecurity and squatters moving into other peoples' homes, one would think these homes would be ringed with electric fences etc. It seems like Zim is safer than other African economic giants.
Do you know all these houses are inside a gated complex (Borrowdale Brooke) with 24 hour security at the main gate where you can't just get in without a pass?
Its a tiny gated community with less than 50 houses owned by very wealthy people and not at all representative of the rest of the city which is in a sorry state because of the economy . To me It looks more like the middle class neighbourhoods of south africa albeit with larger yards .
Man you are lucky to live in that area, how much was your house? I want to get an idea of what houses cost in the area im thinking of buying a property in my home country
Juuk not too easy to say, I’m pretty young so I don’t know but I know that we were one of the first houses to be built in the brook so we were lucky enough to get it quite cheap
Glad to hear that, but their are some people who are finding it difficult at the moment, I just wish governments would come together after all we're all one race the human race
When you claim borrowdale is your neighbourhood I know you're telling a white lie. That place is for zanu pf looters not for ordinary person. Just like Sandston in South Africa only black elites who got multimillion Rand tenders through political connections live over there.
Highlands of Scotland chief...dnt discredit people without facts..some of us have invested our time in legit business n clean deals. That mentality wont take u anywhere ..
@@soulmmeletla3872 I don't know why you're even catching feelings about this. Borrowdale is not a place for ordinary people. For you to be living there you must be connected to zanu pf. Just like those black elites in Clifton, Cape town, umhlanga, Durban, Sandton, JHB. Legit business in Zimbabwe? You must be having a laugh mate!
Come on! Where in America do you see this beauty? Kentucky? Indiana? Most Americans live in tiny houses and the majority are in apartments! You might travel in the south ! I live here 20 years in a row. Been to many states! America 9s just the dream. The middle class is a scheme!

It's really beautiful but to live there is tough because you have a certain standard you have to put up and you must always keep up appearances....its exhausting
