This drive through the Isle of Man is the third video in this manx series and takesus to Peel and its castle by way of the magnetic road and Niarbyl Bay on the West Coats. We pass wild garlic, bright yellow gorse, dry moorland with old dry stine walls making a patchwork of the highland scenerey. Peel castle dates back to the 11th cenrury when it was built by the Norwegian king, Harald Barefoot. The castle walls house the yuins of the cathedral of St German which, for many years was the seat of the bishops of Sodor and Man. The Creek Inn by the harbour is famous for its crab sandwiches and the local beer, O'Kell's.
