@thescooterguy Thanks scooterguy. I looked at yours as well. They are actually quite different. Mine is designed for an electric motor so there is no clutch. Also mine has 2 freewheels linked together in the assembly so the bicyclist can pedal without turning the motor as well as run the motor without the cranks turning. See my other video with the prototype. The ratios are pretty good for the 350W emotor I use.
@Mracer2012 - It's my own design, a takeoff from several others. I bought most of the parts from SickBikeParts and Cyclone. The 2nd freewheel is an ACS Southpaw and I had a few parts fabricated locally. I've described the design in more detail on some of the ebike forums. PM me if you want those links or more info
the pedal harm is to the pedal freewheel which is then attached to the motor freewheel? The pedal axels starts from the motor freewheel to the other pedal?
I would like to use a Luna-tick crank with the cyclone motor to do basically what you've done here. I have a gas engine on the bike also & rather than running it to a left side sprocket is there an easy way to add a 3rd freewheel to the left side of the bottom bracket for the gas engine?
very nice, it my basic design . because you have used the five bolt sprockets your inner ring is too big and your geer ratio will burn the clutch out on your motor too fast. go to a four bolt system so your inner can go down to a 22t. much better for motor
