Yes, me too. I might have heard it 100 times also. Of course, part of that is because I like watching people's reactions to Lovebites and there are really a crazy lot of reactions to Holy War. Also, I just really like the song.

Everyone is influenced by those that came before them. When it is their time, they leave their mark in the history books. We had 25 years of Symphony X. 30 years of Dream Theater. 40 years of RUSH and Iron Maiden. Next... it will be LOVEBITES.

Lovebites are one of the reasons for living. My ears feel blessed every time I hear them. As always I will suggest my favorite live song of theirs. "Scream For Me" If you like guitar solos, there are 14 of them in this song. Ten of them are in 'conversation' mode at the end of the performance. You won't be disappointed.
Yeah....WOW!! The technical expertise, the speed, stage presence, each member playing at the highest levels individually, combined to create a super group of a band.
They loss their bassist a few months back and after public tryouts they have finally found one. The Wolfpack is sad Miho left for her own reasons but happy to announce 20 year old mean bass slapper, Fami, is now their bass player. As a respect to Miho they're no longer dressed in white, they are now dressed in black. Can't wait to see their new stuff coming soon. 🤘 Welcome to The Wolfpack.
Speaking of their instruments, Miyako is playing her Dean USA Icon, Midori is playing her ESP E-II Horizon, Miho is playing her usual blue ESP Amaze with the custom pickguard, and Haruna is playing Pearl and probably all Sabian. Now I have to learn Fami's gear!
This is one of my favorite Lovebites tracks (and they have SO many great songs) as I think it illustrates their strengths so well. As as guitarist, I tend to focus on "M&M" (one of the best guitar pairs on earth), but there are no weak links in this band, nor will there be going forward: Fami has mad chops. Japanese metal in general is pure fire, but it's interesting to note how much of it is being played by women. All-female bands like Lovebites, Nemophila (my favorite band, period), Hanabie, Hagane (talk about insane guitar chops...), Bridear, Little Lilith, Fate Gear, Madaseka, Pinkish Crown, etc. and co-ed bands with female members like Unlucky Morpheus, The SheGlapes, Boris, Saiseiga, and more. The quality in the J-metal scene is phenomenal...and that's not even getting into the Hard Rock scene over there: Band-Maid, Whiskey Dust, and so forth...
I understand that some people have certain tastes in metal which is ok but as for these ladies they have been payed their dues since 2016 and they have persevered through a global pandemic, having to replace their bassist not to mention the haters they get but their still here and still shattering the “Stereotypes” in the metal genre and it’s why I love this band. May I also say I like your attitude towards negative people as I like to say “For every negative thing in this world there is a positive side to it, positivity always wins in the end”🤘
I left you a comment in your previous reaction to them, with a list of 8 or ten Japanese metal bands you should check out. Doesn't look like you saw that, so check it out. The musicianship is phenomenal across the board. I think Lovebites are the apex metal band but the others are great.
Prepared to say that they are the greatest band on the planet. The talent. Swan Song (with the Chopin intro - you might have to do the Chopin intro video and Swan Song right after it, as they are uploaded separately but go together) or Frozen Serenade.

The other day I watched 3 Brits ( whos channel i will not name )react too this same song, they hated it. They criticized their talent, their look, their Japanese accents & the genre of metal they were playing. These Lady's get that alot & so the Wolfpack can be overly defensive....... respect is earned & those guys didn't earn any. I am sorry for the hate, no room for that but it comes from a deep love for this band & a frustration of what we consider to be disrespect.
I mean, everyone has differences in opinion. It sucks they didn’t like it! However, I really enjoyed it. And for the most part, you guys have been a great fan base!

btw, every song has a solo by each guitarist & over 40 have a harmony-duet also, as Ponyboy wrote. Also, their 'rhythm' work is often tremolo-picked, palm-muted, arpeggiated-chords, often harmonized!

it is amazing to me that people compare these girls to Iron Maiden but I think of them more like Dragonforce especially in Through the Fire and Flames, although Lovebites should have great hits coming out like Iron Maiden has done so far in their career
