Timothy is the first actor who brought Ian Fleming's character "James Bond" to life with emotion and pathos! Any character who he portrays, he becomes not acts! ~ Janet Thompson Deaver
@@mattk5020 dalton is the best bond because he was more real and human. Yes, Connery gave him an identity but dalton ( and George lazenby) gave the character real feeling and emotion.
If you watch the interviews he did on The arsenio Hall show which was a few years after license to kill he said he wanted to come back and do more Bond films very much it's sad that they wanted to replace him
The most talented bond that was cast with a classic voice which has depth and humor that makes your ears and hairs shiver, classic acting talent always worth watching no matter what film he is in
Fantastic Bond! Fantastic Heathcliff! Fantastic Mr Rochester! Great Actor! I love Timothy Dalton. Have both Bonds by Timothy and Wurthering Heights! ❤❤❤
wish he did as well but they got into legal issues on who owned the bond name and franchise, and it took 6 years to settle it and I think Tim was happy to be released from his contract
@@tdltn08 actually that's not true the legal issues were resolved in 1992 The producers still waited more than 2 years before production on Goldeneye if you research it watch interviews with Dalton on The arsenio Hall show which was a couple of years after license to kill he said he wanted to come back and do more Bond films very much and the director John Glenn of the five Bond films said that cubby broccoli said the producers and the studio wanted a new director a new Bond and new writers and start fresh it's sad because he was a good Bond
@@tdltn08 and nobody's glad to be out of their contract being bond is the best you can't get better than that just like with Pierce brosnan was fired too but they tried to cover it up at the time
Timothy dalton is a great bond, but from the start he was never given a real chance most of america thought pierce would be the next bond, connery and moore fans never gave dalton a chance, also the living daylights was written in mind for moore, and in interviews with dalton he said he wanted to take bond back to his roots or the early connery films which didnt please fans, his next film didnt get promoted well plus it was a 15 not pg then we had the 6 years with no bond films
@Hordak84 I heard he followed the books more closely and that was a great plus! I like both his Bonds very much and Licence To Kill espically for he gave that bond a differnt depth showing his faith for his freinds Felix Totoal 360!!
@tdltn08 WOW ya!! Sextette has quite a few names going in that one and SO love Mae and her one liners!! She was nearly 80 when she did this too!! Incredable woman and ahead of her time!
I like him a lot as an actor but, Sean Connery was the best Bond, followed by him, Timothy Dalton. I read all the Fleming books and Sean Connery is Bond.
