Haven Berwick holds such a special place in my heart. I go there twice a year, and I go back to Berwick haven in a few weeks! Looks like you had a lush time in Berwick!

The park used to be bourne leisure, and before that It was Feathers if I recall. The owners lounge next to the kids play park used to be the "rendevouz" or the "big top" *cannot remember in what order. The building part used to have the amusements in it - full of space invaders, frogger, gorf, asteroids, firetruck, type machines with fruit machines and also pin ball machines.The right side, if you look from entry way, used to be some giant display that was for prizes if I recall for bingo games maybe. The back also used to have a moving display of hillbillies, a man rocking in a garden etc that you could shoot with a fake rifle to make things do stuff. The rear, which was a tent style top used to be for the kids entertainment, in the 70's that consisted of sticking young kids on the sawdust floor and playing watership down to traumatise them for life... At one point early 80s just outside the amusements there was a little boat pond with remote control boats you could play on if you had any money left. Outside the amusements was a playground, with a MASSIVE long an high set of swings, climing frames, roundabout, rocky horse thing and concrete floor to fall on, also a cool slide where you could climb up and use slide OR go down a pole. The track that goes along the side of the beach all the way round front of park used to be used for Donkey Rides. Most of the big parking spaces in the site used to be shower blocks, as the caravans had no showers in the 70s'...

Im going on Monday with my two kids, we usually go to haggerston castle, fancied a change this year 🙂

Our family holidays were the same since we were young age Berwick was ideal and due to visit the park soon so looking forward to it

Perfect weather it looked like. We go to a Haven site in a few months for a week
