A Far Too Brief History of Chrysler's LH Cars - The Most Beautiful Chryslers? 

In 1993/94 Chrysler introduced their LH cars - the Concord, Intrepid, 300 and others.
The story of the LH cars isn't that interesting, what's fascinating is their history that date back to 1954 and the founding of AMC. By the 70's AMC was partnered with Renault, and when Chrysler took over (bought) AMC they got what would be the Grand Cherokee, a new assembly plant, and the French platform that would define the LH sedans.....
But the purchase of AMC goes further, with engineering approaches, attitudes towards customer suggestions, platform design of products, and management all being revolutionized by AMC's employees.... and these processes spread beyond Chrysler.
