No its not silly. I had a very special dog for 15 years. He collapsed and died in my arms. Even 5 years later his loss is painful and I see that as how important he was. Grief is grief. Love is love. Loss is loss. Allow your pain unabashedly. He seemed amazing in pics.

I am so sorry for this tough time of loss for you. I know you know he’s simply changed form and remains a part of you. Love that binds hearts keeps them forever bound. I am so very sorry that you are hurting yet knowing that it hurts this much means the love was huge! It isn’t silly at all!!!! He’s your baby.
