A small old wheelloader is really useful. Just need to repaint it because it has started to rust. It is a nice machine for lifting something a frontloader cant lift and an excavator is too big to lift.
Good tip for the daughter’s boyfriend, my own daughter is approaching boyfriend age and all tips are welcome 😂 thought you would have painted the loader brackets before fitting but I’m sure you have a plan in place for that job. Nice tidy machinery you have👍
A great edition to your farm would be a a jcb or any other backhoe machine it dosent have to be new at all there great for fencing you can put your posts and wire in the front and drive the posts with the rear . You can scrape away your feed with it or push it in . You can use the front loader on it for many things and then if you have any digging work or muddy gate ways or overgrown land to clear. My grandad always had one on the farm and it does all the heavy lifting he can’t do anymore their a great investment
Fair play, lovely clean well minded equipment there throughout. You must have a good power washer set up to keep stuff so clean. Also, a suggestion for a video, welding for the non welding farmer... If you are doing the euro brackets yourself you must be fairly handy with the welding but would love a video with your take on welding and adjustments to make when using lighter or heavier steel when welding. Great video once again, though. Top class.
Another great video, your attention to detail is second to none. It's not the cleaning that's hard to do it's the keeping them clean that's difficult. If you have twin daughters you are going to have twice the boyfriend trouble 👫👫
Have a nugent link box sitting here for last 15 years. Used only for small shoring jobs. Other than that Q40 loader does everything. Never comes off the tractor. Not sure case is user friendly enough to be a great loader tractor. Loader tractor needs good forward vision down the side of the bonnet. Those brackets look like they won’t give you that. Good oil flow also, you’ll be reving the life out of the engine to lift and close grab. Finally you need power shuttle and at least duel power. Hope it works for you. You can always trade up in a few years
Thingy absolutely, he’s on the first step. Some people hate loader tractors and say telehandler all the way. This probably is their experience of a loader tractor. My loader tractor is 04, but a hell of a lot more advanced that the 895
Well done - you made me spit my tea all over my iMac screen with the link box being handy for getting rid of your daughter's first boyfriend comment!!! I'm more oldschool - just a spade and a bag of lime!!
getting rid of your daughter's first boyfriend😂😂😂..I'd use the bale splitter myself🙈😂😂..was amazed the mini silage pusher didn't make the list!!!! Great vid👍
Cool video. I like watching how different farming is over there to us here in New Zealand. I have a MF 6470 aswell, set up with a loader though, great tractor
Brilliant video 👍 We bought a new malone post driver just identical to yours a few weeks back. The work you'd do in just half an hour is unreal with it 😀 love it. Im with you on the division in the fertiliser spreader. Our 500kg bogballe is the the same and I hate it. Great reliable spreader though. The mower/topper debate will be interesting 😂😂 we have both and personally I find the topper better.
Nice video Adrian, our go too tractor is our zetor Crystal 8011. They were very popular down around my side of the country, then it would have to be the 165/135. It would be nice to see what kinda tractors your father had over the years on the farm if u can.
Hi Adrian, Great video again and very informative as always. Really looking forward to the video's upcoming about the sprayer as I am about to purchase one and also the topper v disc mower and of course your 2 projects as well. Don't be joking Gerry in Louth about his green and yellow tractors 🚜. 👍😂😂😂
Great top 10 vid👍it not just having these great equipment but looking after these great equipment that like too. I reckon some farmers under estimate pocket rocket tractors, our MC McCormick 130 4 cylinder out performs my uncle CaseIH 5100 n NH 120 in loader work. Dad had thought about smaller CX but realise bigger MC can pull case bin easier.
McHale bale splitter video is how I came across your channel, was thinking about buying one & so was looking at a few videos of it. Still haven't bought one but will one day 🤞 P.S if I was to do a similar video I'd have my milking machine at number one.
Adrian we bought a double bale lifter this year and I absolutely hate it and if you put a grab of pit silage and use the grab to push it on the side that's in the middle it leaves it less graping for us
Great video savage big and clean machinery but I would have guaranteed u would mention ur quad we use it daily not a day goes by without her being started
Lovely video. Would you be tempted to go all bales for the silage and try to save your back with the forking? We are all bales now with maybe 10 years, best thing we ever did
Really interesting and enjoyable and professionally presented. How many acres do you farm in total? Always look forward to your videos. Good length but would love greater frequency. On the other hand you do have a farm to run to earn your bread and butter!
Gerry Coburn it’s great that people like our video’s and are asking for more on a regular basis but time isn’t always available, things will start to slow down a bit from next month so we should be able to get more videos out then 👍thank you
IFarm WeFarm I know it takes a lot of time to shoot a video, edit it and then upload it and all this eats into your work and family time and all for little recompense. I admire that you are prepared to do this for us at no cost to us and it would be nice to think that your channel continues to grow at as fast a rate as it has done so far. Content is really good and varied and always interesting. I particularly liked your series on the construction of the new cow house and the way it was presented. I look forward with keen anticipation to your future vids. Onwards and upwards! Keep up the good work but stay fit and healthy.
The link box will become redundant lad when the loader & bucket get up & running, I know from experience, no more sore neck!! Next requirement bale soft hands for the loader, get the double ram one, I didn't and regretting it since
Philip McVeigh were trying to decide on a bale handler, soft hands or conventional bars, I’m seeing more use for the bars as you can take them off and the spikes are there. How do you find the soft hands when the bales are wet?
@@IFarmWeFarm I stack bales 2 sometimes 3 high on there ends Adrian, soft hands only yoke for that. Think the double ram one would be better for this, i find the one i have both hands don't open & close simountsly which can lead to damaged bales if not careful.
Declan Parke yes but I look at the quad as more of a vehicle than equipment, bit like my jeep, it’s great though, Powerwasher is too but only does 2-3 weeks work all year
@@IFarmWeFarm hi adrain that perfect thanks .sorry not on Facebook or instgram.but must say you have a tidy set up keep up the good work brilliant u tube video 👍
Just a quick thing there about your fertiliser spreader we hav an amazone as well and when we were sowing around and around the field we found it would throw the fertiliser to the 1 side as well so we went up and down the field we found it kept it far more even on the 2 sides of the shot. though your track was harder to see could be worth a try
I wonder what my gr gr gr gr grand dad would have thought of all this equipment. He had four horses and a rake of men, and his sons to work his farm. Not sure what type of farm as it was 1830 lol
