@Levi Levi - I couldn’t agree with you more.. and the designer has a monopoly on designing those beautifully detailed but yet sometimes gaudy wedding dresses because people come from miles around just to see her. The fact that she has an understanding of the gypsy lifestyle without judgment has helped her make a name for herself. She never asks why, she simply brings the clients vision to light. 👍🏼😊

Nope this was actually this *First!!* 🤣🤣 I used to watch this show religiously on T.V just for the fights 😅🤣🤣

Well the majority of them are not actually legally binding. It’s for the show. These 2 became a mess after this wedding and it has been quite a sad outcome. If you google nukkie and pookie Gypsys, you’ll see more. A lot of this is poorly acted and about 75% or more, are no longer together. Mellie has had 2 more kids and she doesn’t have full custody of them either. They didn’t get much from these elaborate weddings other than sandras dress, which they all sell later on eBay. They’re a mess and it’s sad. I enjoyed watching Gypsy sisters, but they all fought so much and the show was getting harder to film. To many scandals came to light and it’s been a huge mess.

@@randyrose6303 Yes I'm partly joking 😂😂 But to the Gypsy culture, their dresses are considered elaborate and very fancy. A LOT of them were put up for sale starting at $25,000 That's not cheap for a dress! TLC pays for it too. As you likely noticed, they always focus on the womans dress. All that individual bead work and hand sewing is actually quite expensive. (Even though most turn out to looking like someone made the dress in the dark on a game show in 24 hrs.) Some of the looks they pick blow my mind. 😂 But that's about all that's expensive from their weddings and all I would call elaborate. The work put into those dresses by Sondra and her team is very intense. Then they wear it to some rented gun club hall and basically ruin it. They they turn around and sell them. smh

It's not just the material that plays into the cost, it's the workmanship. She personally designs each dress and each of those dresses takes 30+ hours to make. Everything is done by hand. Every bead and crystal is handsewn. Plus it's what her customers want.
