@@The3rdRail I’ve seen quite a few model train videos over the past year, and there is a lot of junk out there. You stick out with a very well presented incredible Märklin collection you are actually playing with. When I restarted about a year a half ago, I had no clue and ventured into the digital world, only to find out that the first TEE I bought was analog. I ordered the digital conversion kit, but never got around to install it. Then a couple of our friends directed me towards some really nice analog locos for my various Orient Express consists, so I bought a Trafo, isolated the outer oval and can now run analog.

I’ve been buying metal tracks for a more permanent layout or shadow station, as I don’t think I’ll ever get into these highly detailed layouts that look like reality, just smaller…
