hi there, thanks for the video! i found something really freaky and i hope im not the only one, but during the first night playing as sunny where you're fighting the monster on the stairs, if you minimize or click out of the game sunny shouts "wait!" because he's so afraid. It scared the shit out of me, i've been trying to retrigger it but i've been unlucky so far, maybe someone else can. I hope i wasn't just hearing things because i was on a discord call at the time!

the four mirriors appear when: 1. random, Ive gotten it repeatedly 2. Basil's mirror 3. I beleive when you do "Other" ending 4. when you open the door for "Mari" There's also two that I know of if you do the hikkimori route where Sunny replaced with OMARI
3. When HERO interrupts the scene where ghost MARI playing music on the piano (end of the second day, I believe?) and talks to SUNNY. If you look at the mirror afterwards she'll be there, following you.
Not sure if it's exclusive to hikkikomori route, but occasionally there will be things preventing you from sleeping at night and you have to wander around a bit before you can sleep. The one I remember most was walking into sunny's room to find a copy of sunny already in bed
I don't think those Maris are anything else than Sunny's manifestation of guilt. The only Mari that could have some paranormal and true form (that is outside the control of Sunny's subconcious) would be the third night Mari before underwater sequence.
@@Drishby I think there's a point in the dream sequence where Mari helps Omori overcome the fear of water is also the true form of herself. I remember her words clearly and saying how she misses her little brother, damn near brought me to tears.
I don't think she actually is. It's just that the last time Sunny saw his sister he wasn't as tall as today. His mind just made him think she was that tall

Also I don't care if it is a distortion or a memory or whatever, tall is TALL. Okay? You'd think Sunny would at least be reasonable with his expectations but I'll be darned if I don't want a sister that towering. Just...with her feet touching the floor is all.
Do not underestimate how much your spine and neck can stretch when you hang a person for some time. This plus the fact how stressed and and distorted the image Sunny must've remembered is.
Damn I should've taken a screenshot of the eye on the door, I haven't been able to find it ever since I saw it and I was starting to believe I was imagining it until I saw some other people had seen it too lol

When you check the mirror it can appear on the door and it does not kick you out automatically, so I though my eyes were playing tricks on me since the entire room (irl and ingame lol) was very dark Idk if it is random but it happened for me the night when Kel and Hero stayed in Sunny's house
Maybe a little bit late but here's more secrets.. 1. Berly refers to Kim in Faraway Town because her full name would be Kim-Berly 2. In a centaur's house (or minitaur.. i think) theres a hidden certificate (for being small) at one of the walls on the right side 3. You can go to the where the closet was in Sunnys house and if you press Z itll say "Theres nothing here"

i can't wait for someone to make a video on the "WTF value" found in the game files, it's like undertale's fun value-- the only wtf value specific events i remember are the picture of someone familiar appearing in the Junkyard (value >/= 2)and Humphrey saying "i fucking love air conditioning". (value = 13) but there's a bunch
None of you guys encountered the other door options? They aren’t secret? You encounter every one of them during an real life section we’re OMORI is alone. Like I remember you encounter the tall sister one in the door after discovering the piano I am pretty sure.

Ps: I found something weird in the Yunkyard, there is a picture in one of the gargages that if you interact with Abruey, Hero and Kel it says "A familiar person" (or something like that) but if you interact with Omori it appears a little jumpscare that i couldn' notice cuz it happend so fast. Actually there is another mirror watching outcome where a sillouete of the Something ghosts sits in the doorframe. I got it to happen only once in my 2 playtroughs tho.
Here are some things I found: -The night after black space, when you see Mari at the piano, you can actually go to Sunny's backyard. However, he will only take a few steps forward before seeing Something and turning back. -After that, you can go back to the piano room, and Hero will be sitting there saying: Mari.... Why....? -Sunny will shake his head and leave the room after that. -After the There's something behind you ending (where Basil dies and you dont equip the knife) you can find a secret file named www__for_SUNNY__. I suggest checking the file yourself, its a 4th wall breaking easter egg and its really creepy. -Several headspace npcs mention something about a "darkness" (either referring to black space or to Something) -If you eat a donut in the Sweetheart boss fight she will say: How dare you eat a donut in front of my face? -Angel has his of "Foe Faxts" in his room. Its pretty funny, he has a drawing of Artist, Kel, and Sunny in there
For the four mirrors 1. You can see it after you throw up the steak in the bathroom 2. After the fear of spiders fight I believe. 3. Before you go to sleep when Kel/Hero are sleeping over 4. Before you go check on Basil Usually if I checked the mirror before doing something that would advance to the next day (sleeping/checking on Basil) it would show up for me.
1. I don't know,but i assume that you can get it by a random chance when looking at the mirror 2. When you're at Basil's bathroom with him,look at the mirror and you'll get that jumpscare 3. at the sleepover in your house you'll hear a piano playing,go to the room with the piano in it and talk to Mari,after Hero gets in the room and stops the conversation making Mari dissapear right when he got in there go to the bathroom and look at the mirror 4. Open the door for "Mari" (aka Hellmari) in the real world and after that go to the bathroom and look at the mirror
The eye on the door pic can be found on the 2020 trailer if you pause on the scene where sunny looks at the mirror (near the end) I believe it is...cause I was watching the trailer a lot a while ago and happen to see it
There's a secret in this game where if you try to go back into whitespace after fog covers the dream space, you'll get a jumpscare no one has talked about online :)

The only stuff I found about it online right now is the Wiki, but it doesn't specifically say when it happens so you might just have a random chance of looking through the keyhole back into white space instead of getting the option to go into it.
This is old but in the files there’s a photo of sunny lying awake at night with a really creepy smile after exiting the dream world. It was never used but it exists 💃
I got the eye on the door in my play through when I first got the game. It stays there the whole time. But once you leave the mirror and look again, it never comes back.
Something i found at sweethearts castle: when you defeat the boss and the game wants you to enter the hole in the stage, don't. instead leave that place and inspect the thorn bushes(?) with sprouts next to it. the music cuts and you see something behind the bushes. if you inspect it again something isn't there anymore and the music continues playing.
Unsure if this is a secret or not, but it happened to me during the Hikikomori Rout (I'm still in the room with this thing, I haven't moved.) Spoilers, obviously. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the hikikomori rout on the last day, you can go to white space and wake up from the headspace. SOMETHING will follow Sunny around the house. You can go into the Piano room and the Piano will be missing. If you leave said Piano room the Zombie like Sunny will be at the top of the stairs. I have not yet found out if you can interact with him as I'm just kinda hanging out at the bottom of the stairs, but I thought it was weird. Update: If you walk up the stairs the zombie Sunny walks into your room and disappears.
I heard that there was a secret photo album hidden in the files, but I couldn’t find it after digging for a while. Plus I don’t have the resources to open RPG Maker files. Can anyone back me up on this?
About the bathroom one... how did you get the no.4 one? are there any choices that influence the outcome? Edit : ok, i got it.... that one will appear if u open the door for “MARI” lol, unfortunately i didn’t Edit 2 : ok, i also understand like... SUNNY’s and BASIL’s guilt haunt them to the end in the form of “SOMETHING” but it’ll be your OWN choice to forgive them or not, personally i forgave them.... no one would actually wants to go through that.... like when MARI wants SUNNY to forgive himself.... i wonder about that... did SUNNY really forgive himself?? I mean the Trauma is still there, right?? and it’ll be your OWN choice to Run away or Face it straight.... i don’t really know who’s at fault in the story.... MARI’s cuz she’s perfectionist? SUNNY’s overreaction to MARI which caused her death? AUBREY’s change of personality cuz of her dad and no friends when she needed them the most? KEL that always been simple? HERO that became a shut-in and then entered college after MARI’s death? SUNNY’s alter ego “OMORI”? is it SUNNY’s fault even tho its an accident? is it SUNNY’s fault that they drifted apart? That would be your own view point..... This game is such a masterpiece... i got so many life lessons from this.... this is hella ride for me... OMO Edit new opinion : I mean, I think that's a really cynical way of looking at it. SUNNY made a mistake, killed MARI out of a pure accident, and tried to cover it up since, as a child, he wasn't sure what else to possibly do. It was a fatal mistake, it was wrong, but it was never out of malice or anger. SUNNY simply fucked up. That's why, personally, I think the ending (including the true ending cutscene afterwards) is the most effective. Everything leading up to this point is a substantial development to where SUNNY initially begun as, being the enclosed shut-in that he is, unable to accept the reality of what he has done. It's about putting the faith in his friends, it's about learning to accept your actions... And, as we can see, they're there (in his mind) to support him before he goes onstage and faces OMORI one final time. To me, the good ending is about having faith in those who are closest to you. Will they be able to forgive SUNNY? Who knows. It's why the ending is left open to us, because we decide whether or not such a horribly misguided action could be forgiven. Maybe it's just me being optimistic. But the support his friends give to him, the care they've always shown SUNNY, how they know how much SUNNY has been through... I feel like whatever the case, they wouldn't abandon him. They may be angry, frustrated. But he was a child, and he made an irreversible mistake. But, even that doesn't happen. SUNNY came to terms with his trauma, his deeply seeded psychological issues. And as you can see in the true ending cutscene, he learns to be happy. Even if they don't forgive him, SUNNY after that ending, I feel, will have the strength now to move on. And, at least, he will still have BASIL :)
On the night Kel and Hero spent the night and Mari's ghost was playing the piano downstairs (after black space sequence) i managed to get the 4th one of her as well on that night. Even though I've already seen the photo from looking up secrets from the first night it still took me by surprise.
I personally think that sunny didnt kill her, but more that omori/something killed her, as bazil said that sunny didnt kill her, it was something behind him, and the eye that he saw from Maris corpse isnt her eye, but something/omori physically saying "look what you have done" and yes I agree, I would also forgive them too.
@@thesixthsamurai9960 I feel like Basil said that Sunny didn’t kill Mari because he couldn’t believe that Sunny would do that. Sunny pushed Mari out of frustration, but I don’t think he meant to kill her. He wanted to leave and she blocked the way, and feeling overwhelmed by not being able to perfect his violin skills and the pressure he felt, he tried to push her out of the way. SOMETHING seems to represent the haunting guilt they feel for Mari’s death and the trauma they went through. The last part about the eye was interesting though, and I think it makes sense.

Yo I found footage of the eye on the door, in one of ManlyBadassHero's OMORI playthrough episodes theres an eye on the door, he doesnt seem to notice it though
I seen both the second and 4th door option. But honestly the fourth was sorta my fave because my initial reaction because,, i literally was saying something positive about sunny and then wheni looked in the mirror it got cut off by me making a weird noise XD
I started playing this game with a friend watching on discord, i only noticed the something standing infront of the door when i clicked off the mirror. It fucking scared me and since i clicked off the mirror my friend didnt even notice at all that it was there.
As far as I know the first mirror event happens the first time you look into the bathroom mirror. Its just Something being in front of thr door, though it's really dark and you can easily miss it. Either I just noticed it the second time I played the game or it's actually pretty rare. You can also see it in Manlybadasshero's letsplay of omori, but he didn't notice it as well.
Another creepy secret is in the town in blackspace 1. If you open one of the doors on I think it was the third or fourth row of houses, you can enter the house. Inside is a portrait of Mari. If you look at it, she leaves the portrait and follows you around the house. You can eat a birthday cake inside the house. If you do, it says something like "you hear the crunching of bones" and "you're missing your molars." With the sound effects, bro, that shit freaked me out. Had to go to sleep for the night after that one. Oh, and if you return to the house, a spooky Mari jumpscares you at the door.
the first one is preety common, and you can easly miss it, when you're awake at night you can go to your batchroom and look into mirror, after closing mirror this wont appear again this night
Secrets that I noticed: - Hangman will jumpscare you if you fail to complete it before the figure is fully drawn. - There’s another mirror scare which shows a very hard to see Something in the doorway.
Small correction, Hangman will jumpscare you once you collect all the "wrong" letters either way. As far as I know it is actually impossible to "lose" before completing the phrase as a few letters are only available in the "postgame" of the hikikomori route and you need all of them.
Theres another file thats named. "FOR_SUNNY.txt" inside it its just a huge ascii art of SOMETHING. and inside SOMETHING's eye, there its written: "THERES SOMETHING BEHIND YOU"
another secrets here: 1-In hikkikomori route, after you leave the library (defeat sweetheart), waking up, sleep again, stab yourself and trying to open the closet, something pulls you inside (actually i dont remember exactly how to do it, but i think its that) 2-After defeating Humphrey in hikkikomori route, looking yourself at mirror shows Omori instead of Sunny
If possible can you check the files through the game through the photo album I’ve heard there’s text that relates to hero kel and Aubrey figuring out the truth about what happens
Something that happened in my first playthrough: after throwing up the steak, something knocked at the door, pretended to be Mari, I opened the door slowly and the 4th mirror figure in the video was behind it, waiting to jumpscare you, and I gotta say, it gave me nightmares
I remember after being at the piano with HERO and KEL so it played the omori piano theme music and after leaving the room, I checked the bathroom mirror only to see 4. for the first time and the music stopped. I had goosebumps!
Hmmm , i think Maris ghost its actually poltergeist not Sunny's hallucinations because on day 2 night , when Sunny meets Mari spirit he hears an Waltez melody and then when Hero run in he swears , he heard music and then it is claimed that it was Sunny. But know that was Mari.
So uhh, sorry if I don't remember or not but there's another mirror(not in the bathroom)but when you look at it with Kel, Hero and Aubrey. While exiting the mirror scene you can see that the faces of Hero, Kel and Aubrey are like, melting and while Omori's face is distorted. I try to be in the fandom the least possible until I finish the game, but I always fall asleep in the middle of it. Sometimes the game can be Hella disturbing, but seriously, dream's mostly cute pastel background, adorable child-like characters and fighting rabbits, for what I've seen so far lol. I think for eye in the door (mirror scene 1), you could actually fine it in the OMORI 2020 trailer at 1:43 I think! If that what you were talking about :)
The 1st one is very hard to see. You can watch a yt vid when people look at the mirror before fight ex-bf and try to increase the brightness. It will be easier to see.
I got mari #4 when I went back into white space and killed myself on night 3 I think? Whenever Kel and Hero sleepover. I woke up and it was still nighttime and walked around and there were a few spooks. Probably common knowledge though
