I don't remember who of us three first used the term "Doot Metal" but this has grown from a joke to a mixture of heavyness and windy elegance. Thanks for having me again
You'll always be one of the first call for something like this. I feel like it was definitely one of you that called it doot metal. I know I got donut to do some doot metal with me pretty early in my PM lifecycle though!
The use of woodwinds in such a heavy song isn't something I'd expect to work as well as it does, but it sounds great! Love the arrangement, as well as everyone's performances!
I love using non-typical metal instruments, winds especially. It always adds a nice texture, and it also has the benefit of me having to record less haha. Thanks!
Yes! This arrangement is a headbanger, and you guys show the power of doot metal is real! I haven't played this game but the music and melody sound awesome, nice playing by you guys!
Thanks! You have pretty great taste in old Sega games for sure haha. The original track had such thick nasty bass lines that I really wanted to hear heavy!
this is a really cool idea for a song and not only did you guys play your instruments well you mixed everything really well too so no one's performance was lost, excellent job on this to all of you
Thanks, that means a lot. It can be quite stressful mixing when there are so many different things playing at once, but it turned out alright in the end.
