It is weird to me that Danny has more trauma with Johnny than with Chozen. Johnny was a bully, but not only Chozen try to assault the girl he liked and maybe even kill her, but also he tried to kill him.
Well Daniel doesn’t have trauma with Johnny, he has trauma with Cobra Kai, which is associated with Johnny, even from the jump Daniel greeted Johnny with kindness before he opened Cobra Kai, Daniel got worse from Silver and Kreese than Chozen did, Silver manipulated him and tortured him, made him betray miyagi, which is the greatest sin. So yeah Cobra Kai inflicts more trauma on Daniel then Chozen, Johnny never did.
The trauma has more to do with cobra kai. They bullied him throughout half the school year and even when he thought it was over, he had to deal with Kreese, Silver, and Barnes. The situation with Chozen was only for that week he was there. He won his fight and when he left, he was thousands of miles away from him whereas cobra kai was very close to home.
People get mad at Sam for freezing up in fear when Tory showed up, but she didn't even know she was afraid of her like that. This is the first time they've run into each other since the school fight. Sam thought she had it handled. Hard to know if you're terrified of someone when you don't see them for a while.
@@brevonmckinney2537 Not how trauma works. Not even close. Tory nearly tore her face off and cut her arm open with that bracelet. Win or not, you don't forget that. Let's say you fight someone. You win the fight, but they stab you in the process. You'd be scared of the next possible fight because you don't want to get stabbed again.

Congratulations. You are one of only a few channels who noticed the parallels between Chozen and Robby in this episode. Not many did so. People try to make a parallel between Chozen and Hawk and ignore the fact that Demetri isn't the enemy, he is his best friend. A friend who was always there and will always be there for Eli/Hawk when he needs him the most. Shawn is Robby's enemy and he only striked first after Shawn insisted on war. Robby didn't strike first like normal members of Cobra Kai do.
That does not make her or any of the other Cobras responsible for Hawk’s actions. The show clearly sets up a parallel with the situation in which Miguel showed Robby mercy and suffered for it. Hawk decides he isn’t repeating Miguel’s “mistake”.
Hawk course to go thru with it, he wasn't forced to listen to Tory...and in actuality, Tory was just doing the lesson that Chozen had just taught Daniel. Take away the ability of an opponent to wage war!
Let me get this right, cobra kai beats the shit out of your friends steal money for miguel, they mess with your job snd break demetri arm, but sam wants to fight back and has ptsd from the psycho that tried to kill her but she is the dumb one?
The order. Sam wanted to fight. Couldn’t finish aaaaand than Demetri arm gets broken. The order of events is important for the frustration. She lead a charge and froze as her Ally got his arm broken. Thus she was never equipped to lead the charge.
They beat the shit out of the little guy first, and they were messing with the big guy job, they should've just let them keep going? At some point u gotta step up and fight or the bullying will never stop
@@Horus-py9un The irony being that the only reason why Cobra Kai was reformed is because Sam & her friends did a hit & run on Johnny's car & her friends bullied Miguel, Hawk & Ayeshi into wanting to take Karate (Of Which Sam did nothing about that bullying btw) & Now she's afraid of a chick SHE started beef with at the country club! (never apologized for her judgmental assumption btw) After of course flirting with Robby in front of her then boyfriend Miguel & later cheating on boyfriend Robbie with Miguel lol. Literally Every issue in this series started with Sam! She does shit, never owns up to it, cries about it then mommy & daddy tell her it's not her fault & she gets in no trouble. Even when she gets grounded she sneaks out somewhere fucks something else up & still her parents say "It's ok" lmao

There is a difference in sociopaths and psychopaths, with a large number of the functioning human society being psychopaths. Still can't technically diagnose Tory as a psychopath, instead of as just a fighter, but she is mentally unstable and Sam should really stop antagonizing her.
I understand Sam has PTSD but it's hard for me to feel sympathy when SHE started the fight and led her group into this fight yet does nothing and cowers when her teammate is getting his arm broken.
She didn’t do nothing, she couldn’t do anything. She wanted to but her body refused to move. That’s what a panic attack does to you. As to starting the fight, it was her defending herself. I don’t agree with it because violence usually cycles. What I really didn’t care for was in the beginning when she first Tory and assaulted her under the assumption that she was a wallet thief because she swiped a bottle of alcohol- her arrogance put her on this path in the first place.

19:26 Well to be fair Chozin fought with Daniel then had a long span of not having to deal with Daniel in any way where as with Johnny he's kind of had to have Daniel's successes rubbed in his face. Not saying it's Daniel's fault by any means just it's a lot easier to let hot blood cool with absence.

She backed down from Yasmine about Aisha, backed down from her father about Miguel and Cobra Kai, backed down Miguel about Robby, backed down from Aisha and Tory about drinking, backed down from apologizing to Tory for accusing her of stealing Amanda's wallet, backed down from Robby about kissing Miguel, backed down from her father about her getting Robby to not take her home after she got drunk, backed down from going to see Robby in juvie. Sam has always shown cowardice long before the PTSD...
She told Hawk to take away Demetri's ability to wage war, remember it was Miyagi-do that came to the arcade looking for a fight...Cobra Kai just showed them there are consequences in war if you choose that route.

All the Miyagi dos including Robby kinda paralleled each other this episode. They all learned one way or another that sometimes striking first is necessary. Sam and Robby were kinda in sync here like the wheel technique until Tory shows and breaks their connection.

@@mahad813 facts Demitri became a tank out of nowhere. He was getting hit with shit that was putting other people to sleep earlier in the episode and he just took the hits like they were nothing.
Hawk was not in the wrong. The miyagi do kids came for a fight and then bitched out. If anybody deserves to lose respect its miyagi do kids not Hawk or the other cobra kia kids.

My respect for Sam is like a downward spiral at this point, she led her team into battle then when Tory showed up she froze and because of that Dimitri got his arm broken.
@@aitothechamp7263 Tory didn’t order Hawk to do shit. With what power could she have ordered him? She encouraged him, as did the other Cobras. It was Hawk who decided to break Demetri’s arm. The parallel with Miguel and Robby in the season 2 finale is clear.

6:20 - that isn't fully what happened with the fight. Robby did try to break up the fight, but people always overlook what all transpired just as Miguel was arriving on the scene. Miguel sees Robby with Tory pinned against the locker, then Robby kicked somebody across the jaw...that's when we hear Miguel yell to get off of her and he tackled Robby. Miguel doesn't see Robby breaking up a fight, he sees Robby fighting! 10:20 - Chozen was saying that Miyagi didn't teach Daniel everything that Miyagi knew, he held back some Miyagi secrets...likely due to the actions and demeanor of Daniel during Karate Kid 3. 18:50 - lmao...I tried to tell you last time, Sam ain't bout that life...she starts fires but can't ever put them out. Sam seeks vengeance instead of immediately responding, but she hasn't had a rough life at all in the slightest, so when she faces adversity she freezes up...which is all the worse now due to her PTSD from the school fight. Now Sam is full of anger, but she is also a coward...a terrible combination! 21:10 - you're right Adorkable, you picked up on it immediately. Sam said she just wanted to show them that they couldn't be bullied...but she went looking for the trouble which led to Demetri's broken arm. Tory didn't start this, she hasn't been involved in any of the drama of season 3, but she is loyal and a fighter so she came to the aid of her dojo.
Miguel wasn't a true victim of the fight. He was an equal participant in the fight. The fact that he chose to stop mid-fight, expecting Robby to do the same, doesn't make him a victim, it makes him naive. He chose to follow one of Johnny's lessons (sometimes showing mercy), while abandoning one of Johnny's equally if not more important lessons (enemies don't always play by the rules, so be prepared for anything). Robby literally had the fight under control and Miguel heard Tory threaten to severely injure Sam over the speakers. Miguel was either insanely dumb in that moment that he fought Robby wanted to start the fight or he just wanted to fight with him. With the knowledge he had he should have been happy that Robby deescelated the fight, seemed like he loves both girls at the same time. Now I love Miguel don't get me wrong, but sometimes he's one of the least smartest characters in the show tbh, that's his main character flaw. And the worst thing people arguing is that Miguel showed him mercy and honor. Wtf guys?? He shouldn´t even have start the fight. He cheated on Tory (regrets it on the spot too) Tory doesn't answer him (even shown to be suspicious) He's talking to Hawk about it He hears Tory over the speaker threatening Sam for what she did (This is the moment Miguel has to realize Tory knows he cheated on her, that's why she didn't answer him) He runs to the scene. Sees Robby holding Tory against the locker with one hand and holding Sam back with the other (very obvious gesture one person makes to separate two others) Then Robby says "Settle down, I am sure we can figure this out" and literally at that moment he attacked him.
@@darklondon4425 Miguel didn't cheat on Tory, he pulled back from Samantha and rebuked her. Robby also wasn't holding Samantha back, only Tory, and he assaulted somebody else at that time. Miguel actually tried to break up the fight between the girls at the stairs, but Tory kicked him back and Miguel was shocked then Robby came up and attacked Miguel. You're being completely bias towards Samantha and Robby, ignoring their own part in everything. Also forgetting the fact that Samantha and Robby practice Miyagi-do, which is about self-defense and honor...but both of them constantly neglect those parts, especially in the case of Robby kicking a non-combative Miguel multiple times until he goes over the railing.
@@Mr10before9 Even the actor of Miguel, Xolo said in an interview that he was surprised that his fans try to argue that he was innocent at the kiss. So seems pretty clear that Miguel and Sam cheated. Hard to accept that Miguel isn´t the angel people want to believe. Then there is the scene with the stairs. Yes, Tory kicked Miguel back. But you are way to biased towards Miguel to see the thruth. Robby was running upwards and was screaming "SAM" (his girlfriend). He wasn´t looking for Miguel. And what did Miguel in this situation? He attacked Robby from behind a pillar. Robby couldn´t even see Miguel and he couldn´t defend himself from this kick. So Miguel was again the one who couldn´t stop fighting. And what has Sam done during the school fight which was against her teachings? Tory attacked her and she was defending herself.
