My father had brand new 2015 Skoda Yeti with 1.4 TSI engine. It started breaking down after reaching 30 thousand kilometers. Eventually we managed to sell it and with that car we said goodbye to the VW Group. Never again.
I have had VAG group cars for years. Never gave any major issues. Regular maintenance, never broke down. Sister had 2009 Golf TDI. Owned 14 years did over 200k miles in her hands. Never broke down. 🤷♂️
@@nicholas5129 the sad reality in today's europe is...they're getting more and more expensive and less and less reliable, small turbocharged stressed out engines which fail early, anyways unless you're planning to win races with the thing, a turbo on a gas engine is useless, my opionion, also modern turbocharged small engine cars must be kept in a higher than usual rpm range otherwise they'll shake, which is annoying, why? because of the sound, petrolheads might like that but regular folks like me want their cars to be as quiet as possible while cruising, and to be quiet, the engine must be low revving
