The McLean County Arts Center (www.wglt.org/tags/mclean-coun...) has operated under various names and in some way, shape or form for 136 years. The center’s three galleries and community-focused classes provide a welcoming gathering place for art-curious guests.
But a first-of-its-kind exhibit points to what mixed media artist David Dow calls an underrepresented-or never represented-segment of Bloomington-Normal’s art scene.
