Yeah. When it cut from him starting the kokytos queue to after the fight, I thought he was skipping each fight since they were already uploaded. But then it cuts from Pandæmonium’s queue to the Kokytos fight.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that his hostility felt out of place. We just helped this dude get his son back and he threatens to throw us in jail and torcher us. Like tf man.

Oh, and this woman was content to not only hide herself in the Heart of Sabik, but watch the man she'd manipulated and tricked to believe he'd killed her, go mad over millennia... And clearly couldn't care less about him

​@@rexex345 ...Come to think of it, she absolutely knew the Final Days happened, if she was aware of anything at all inside the Heart of Sabik. They were rather hard to miss, after all. And she didn't even consider trying to help. Heck, given her "nuke the afterlife" gambit after the fight, she'd probably be happy the universe was being destroyed, if it meant she wasn't going to be a god!

@@alexanderkosten7611 I think they confirmed from both her introduction and Lahabrea's pondering that she was both conscious and watching the whole time. I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't actively whispering into Lahabrea's ear through the heart all that time; by the time we meet him in ARR the guy seems to have become almost obsessed with the heart and empowering it... Actually, wouldn't that mean she's likely been absorbing all the primals' aether that given to the Ultima weapon? Girl was probably near fully restored to presundered levels when we finally faced her.

Ultima the High Seraph referred to herself the same way, and one of the dialogue options brings her up as a possible origin of the Heart of Sabik.

Yea I think this raid conclusion is implying that Lahabrea in the end is entranced by Ultima, The High Seraph and is driven mad (like Athena). So by the time we reach the Ultima Weapon Lahas goals have nothing to do with Emet or Elidibus, at least thats my interpretation.

That is an issue I have with pretty much all raids to be honest. Not that they are bad stories, they just don't stick with me for so long, in particlur when there is other content coming as well.

Yeah that’s strange. The journal makes it clear that it was really sudden, but still. Like, maybe he’s looking back on what’s happened, and the arrogance that exists in Hephaistos has him re-examining our altruism vs his duty. He was one who said they should level Pandaemonium, even as the nice Lahabrea.

I feel like the idea is that he didn't just reabsorb his other half but fully embraced it as a part of himself. He viewed his current self as too weak to fulfill his goals, so this willingness to accept Hephaistos may have caused an immediate change that otherwise would have taken longer to occur. Erichthonios even says that he's back to the original Lahabrea.

No, he was immediately ruthless not evil. He meted out punishment immediately and was right to do so, and in that time you couldn't stop him because you can't judge him based on future actions that have not come to pass. Lahabrea doesn't know the truth about Meteion and if you warned him about it it would completely change all of history, and you yourself won't know what happens if you do that. Lahabrea is honor-bound to let you go for helping to restore Pandemonium but he knows that he's a fool for not locking you up and interrogating you to find out what's going on. He's quite like Emet in a sense.

@@sweepingtime Why are you talking about warning him about meteion? That has nothing to do with what I said. Nor does what he did in the future. I am only talking about our interactions with him in the past, and his personality and words at the end of the story do not make sense with what came immediately before.

Uh. His real parents are Lahabrea and Athena. The story makes it clear that the cruel twist behind is parentage isn’t the identity of his parents, but Athena’s reasons for having a child.

What kind of twist were you expecting? Cause from your example it sounds like you were expecting something that wasn't implied at all in the previous stories.

@@enlongjones2394 I don't care about Athena's reasons for having a child. I care about the plot twist that me and some other people were waiting for. The pretty obvious plot twist... Who are Ericthonio's real parents. It ain't Lahabrea and Athena. That's for sure...
