He said in the speech in season 1and the company is named Logorhythms with "rhythm" in it. His motive is, after all, just same as many other characters in the show. Grief for their loved ones.
To show that Stephen's devotees were ruthless and would have killed a human if it was necessary to achieve their goal. And it was, in order to recreate all pivotal moments in Stephen's life, therefore Caspian's girlfriend would've been killed the same way Stephen's girl died.
