Still waiting for my copy here in the UK 😢 so excited for it, it is heavily Scottish & a bit of Irish as well, we do have a very strong particular Fae culture here & pretty much all our deities & magic souls are angry & growly its a tough country to exist in 😂 the creator in her facebook group says she wrote the guidebook herself, for me this deck feel like I what I wanted the Wildwood Tarot to be but never quite felt dark enough. I’m so happy to see my culture, as a Scot, represented very well. I loved this video so much as well thank you, I could never really get into the Tarot of The Hidden Realms & this absolutely confirmed for that deck is not for me.
I love how you said your into it.. when you said the deck had sinister vibe..😂😂 It as a hard life being a Scottish Witch.. I love how the book goes into history and folklore of the Scottish witch. 😘
I preordered mine months ago but after watching your video I cancelled it. I really appreciate being able to see all the cards and a look inside the guidebook. Very helpful, thank you Cody ❤
Love your walkthrough.. The Witch Sisters is a very different energy to Hidden Realms. I love both decks. Julia Jefferys artwork just gives out amazing primal energy. The sun card is Lugh.
1) My Witch Sister deck is out for delivery this morning too! 😁 2) I watched a "Just Follow Jesus" ad on your video which I find hilarious. Just saying.😝 3) I LOL'd when you said "What's the worst she's going to do to you? Throw butterflies at you?" 🤣
Thanks so much for the comparison of both decks! I’ve been waiting for my preorder soooo impatiently. I love the vibe of Witch Sister so much more than Hidden Realm, it feels much less “pretty” and much more mature and raw. I could never properly get into using Hidden Realm cause everyone being young, thin & pretty pissed me off. Now this one corrects that and shows people who look like they’ve been through some shit 👏🏻 Also, love the plant and animal choices as well - they look much more deliberate & rooted in lore instead of being purely aesthetic choices. Will have to see if it’s really the case once I can read the guidebook tho. Also, totally didn’t expect her to mention Południca from Slavic folklore, that’s very surprising 😂
Asia, did you get it from Amazon? I just looked and there is no option to buy! Libristo has them but not sure how long one needs to wait for it though... Wondering when our amazon will get them!
@@tarotmap Kasia, I pre-ordered on Amazon a few months ago. It says estimated delivery is January 11 but it’s always uncertain tbh. Sometimes they cancel pre-orders last minute if they can’t get hold of stock. So I still can’t be sure if I’ll get it or not 🙈
@@polishfolkwitchso annoying. Now I’m not sure if I should wait for Amazon or try ordering from libristo. They say delivery around February 1! Wtf haha I want it now! Lol 😂
Thank you for comparing these, I found it really helpful. I agree with your thoughts on the Witch Sister, a lot of the characters look kind of mardy, lol. It is a beautiful deck none the less.
Loved your review and the art is powerful and amazing, but... I just can't get along with how many of the figures look starving, like they've just been punched in the face, and angry. Although I'm sure I would angry too if I was starving and had just been punched in the face ;-)
Interesting comparison, thanks. I like the more shadowy feel of the Witch Sister’s Tarot. Blasted Oak is from the Greenwood Tarot. Not sure if it’s also in the Wildwood Tarot since I own the former only.
