I've gotten the JJB in the past and thought the items were good quality. Look forward to checking them out again post-relaunch. 50% off, WOO! Making more products in-house makes perfect sense to me for a journal/stationary company. It means those are items you can't just pick up anywhere else and unique.

I think it’s a very smart idea of them to focus on less boxes so they can make those the best possible items they can.

Definitely true that you can't go wrong with an ocean theme! I love jellyfish, and I really love the journal from the box. I just wish it had more of a beachy quote on the front instead. Fun box to watch!

My favorite was the stickers.

I subscribed to the journaling prompts and is worth the $5 per month. I loved my Sak! It was my very first one and I’m looking forward to the new changes.

The weekly planner pad is my favorite thing too. Like you said, it's very useful. Personally, with this kind of stationery sub, I'd prefer a mix of brands too, just because it's fun to have a variety of stylistic takes on the same theme, but I could see enjoying a more custom box if the theme is a bit niche but one I love.

I use my ephemera to”check off” the days on my wall calendar. When you get a nice set like that, it makes a lovely coordinated look.

Bummer about the sak and kid's creative journaling box, but I understand their decision. With many subscription boxes closing altogether it makes sense to focus on making one great box instead of juggling too many.

Love the "making waves" pouch, with it's second pocket and stylized waves. My blue pen doesn't have a charm, which is fine as she gets the best pens.

Maybe they can create s seasonal theme box for kids on a quarterly basis. Maybe a back to school box, etc.

I don't mind the in-house products as long as they look good, and the overall value of the box is there. I think their products are good quality and I'm looking forward their new box. I'm sad that the kid's one is gone :(

The Heartfelt item is a nice choice. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s great they make their own designs but some of it looks very AI and products start to look the same because of the style and quotes. I think it’s good to focus on one box, the kids boxes always looked fun maybe in the future they can think about launching it again.
