Oh wonderful thank you so much! I'm enjoying this process SOOOOO much and I'm finally able to get these things that spin thru my head out for a slight bit of relief xD I'm just glad I can hide the insanity and anxiety under a vibe of chill Many thanks!
Heh just listening to this here, it hits me like a romantic(?) 'good ending' music for Hotline Miami However, first time ive produced a thing that i want to go back and correct/tweak! Everythings been noodling to learn, hell this is too, but it all came together to something fuller than ive done to this point! Got great advice on AudiobusForums to boot! (More knowledge!) - i planed on going back and sequencing the drums to autition better kits easier, and easily separate kick for Envolver ducking (wheeeew Envolver is fascinating), as well more variation without restarting over and over for live (end-game being to learn the sequenced beat and play loop live once sounds are sorted) -- prism sequencer + launchpad is just wild (Wait wait wait wait. I can play live into sequencer, velocity and all, then tweak and separate.... Oh this just got easier, thanks Alex, for being my Rubber Duck!) However for drums: playing with a little reverb and layering to add color and umf (completely logical, just never occurred) Another recommended a thick bass to balance out (thats gonna be research. Finally got keys sounds i like! Now, on to bass. To paraphrase The Incredibles "NO SAWS!!" ... The one overarching sound ive discovered im NOT looking for xD) And also someone could hear a bowed bass coming in ... And i happen to have SWAM at the ready for just such an occasion So theres pribably a part two coming at a later time (which is fun and new for me lol)
To amend my previous wall of text - MAYBE SAWS!! just saw a vid of Emily The Harp Lady with a telegraph style momentary mute, and bitcrushed the bass end of the harp to a very grimy... Softened(?) buzz. But used the telegraph as a momentary unmute... VERY interesting So imma make a Momentary Mute (or unmute) button to (un)mute send b. And any color I send that way can be stuttered! Ooo, throw the colors into the destination of that send for a quick resample addition Yay loopy! (Kinda want to get one of those Bluetooth adhesive buttons to put one [two] on my guitar, midilearn em to the Momentary Mute and effectively have Buckethead's killswitch setup)
@@PapaBPoppin - this is the real sweet spot. To be forging your own sonic path. Creating a sound that honors your influences but incorporates discoveries that come from playing and playing around. So cool to be on this journey together bringing in new ideas from wherever they can be found.
