This is actually really good!!! I don’t understand the other posts. People used to do this and they were big. Small scientists told us to do full ROM. That didn’t work. Now we are back to what works… after the science bros say it’s ok. I would add that doing partials in a contracted range on an exercise that emphasizes the contracted range has benefits as well even though the research was never really set up to test that.

This is stupid It's AMAZING how the fitness generation TODAY are always coming up with a "new breakthrough" when it comes to training....i.e partial reps. Partial reps are nothing more than you're LIFTING PULLING OR PUSHING weight that is HEAVY..... Nothing new

Nothing new. Everyone knows the most potential for growth happens during the extended part of the rep. This is why full extension is not required for growth
