This video reminds me of Riding MX bikes with my Dad when I was little. That amazing feeling of absolute freedom you get when pinning the throttle across an open desert or a mountain fire road. It's an unexplainable feeling. R.I.P. Dad.
who is the first one to decide im gonne jump this sand dune wide open in 4th/5th gear fly 120ft and land on that sand dune.. Those guys are Gnarly awesome video!!
I been watching this video over and over again since early 2019. Something about it just amps me up and keeps me coming back. This a Dame good video, great job Red Bull👍
Beautiful. What would be awesome is a motocross race that takes place in the dunes. And no I don't mean a long race like the Baja 1000, but more like your classic AMA outdoor motocross track, just in the dunes. Red Bull, you feelin me?
Dumont has been hidden gem for many yrs mostly folks from the Vegas area. The awesome thing is can go out there and have all to yourself or go during Holiday weekends and thousands come in and great weekends! Only hope people don't ruin it like Glamis and Communism California don't clamp down here!!!!
Lol. How is California communist? It has lots of high paying jobs, competition, property, and etc.. Plus, the democrats are doing the most right now to defeat the real communists. Look at what Biden is doing to support Ukraine in their fight.
With these long run ins im waiting for a dude to just huck it like Seth Enslow in the old crusty videos. Watch him huck a 250 for the first time and overshoot by about 200 feet, now that was gnar.
Good story i guess. And the vid is outstanding. The Western Voice is pretty damned corny though, cliché. You guys should do a ‘BEEF, its Whats For Dinner’ commercial next.
this film makes me cri because of the awesome film and dirt bikes are the best of the motorcycle comunity and mojave looks like fun and i race as you can see from my profile and its hard what were going through right now covid 19 and i have a broken wrist right now but like if you think riding make you free from all the things around
Although it's a cool video the title is misleading. Dumont is NOT in Death Valley. Death Valley has it's own dunes which to the best of my knowledge are not legal to ride.
Exactly. I'm very familiar with Death Valley proper, and I had to look these up. These are actually right on the outside edge of Death Valley Park, on the southeastern corner, next to CA State Hiway 127. Death Valley Park is on the west side of the hiway, and the "State Vehicular Recreational Area" with these dunes is on the east side of the hiway.
And you're right about it being illegal to ride the dunes IN Death Valley Park. Riding off of the roads in Death Valley is strictly prohibited. All riding MUST be ON the roads in the park -- the same as all other national parks. But that's OK, because there's plenty of roads in amazingly remote areas that are a complete hoot to ride. On second thought, it's boring to ride in Death Valley and there's no reason for anyone to ever go there to ride. So don't go there, all you people. You'll just be bored. It's dull and boring so youz guyz shouldn't waster yer time going to Death Valley. I hear the riding is terrific in Maine, though. Yeah, that's the ticket -- go to Maine to ride. That's the latest hotpot to go dirt riding. Yeah, go to Maine. I hear the best riding is in January.
