The amount of bone arrows I get they are the thing I get rid of first now. I was like wow all these arrows are great, until it wasn't, lol. I do like the loot though. It makes you not be a loot monster and think a bit more on what you are going to pick up. All the mounted creatures are crazy. Who carries a mounted creature around? Something neat to do, if you found simple things built in a camp it would be cool if you suddenly learned how to put a skull on a stick just by examining it. Then for harder things it would take examining it multiple times to learn it, but you can only examine something once in a camp. That would make players go to other camps to examine things to learn to craft them. Maybe we will see this if Funcom reads this comment, lol.
My first game I went left at the river and set up right under spider mountain, and I have arachnophobia ! My top tip is get enough skill points to craft two water bottles, then leave and head as far west as you can, skirt north of The Dregs around the Unnamed City to Sepermaru. There are lots of nice spots to build your base, filled with animals, iron, stone and the desert has scorpions and even dry wood. The city itself is littered with chests that if you learn the route can set you up with high tier armour, tools and weapons as well as tons of mats. Plus the city offers shelter from sandstorms (in the bar with Conan). Then once you start taking thralls the city is littered and even has a few named ones. Lvl 5-20 should be a perfect home before your gaze turns north.
Just downloaded Conan! Your videos are definitely some of the most helpful I have been able to find! Gotta figure out how to play this game. I’ve played soooo much ark survival evolved so I’m loving this game!

I am jumping back into conan myself after few years of not playing. Got a healthy 20 or so mods including AOC and looking forward to jumping back in the Exiled Lands!

Strange. My game does not automatically make required components when I'm crafting things as yours dies around 30m in. I just started playing last week on ps5. 🤷 Thanks for sharing your game knowledge. 🙂
I think the new version of the purge was what the purge was supposed to be, after reading the lore. I personally will be hitting that 'proclaim wealth' button alot 😀
@@Anabriella you werent expecting it the first time? I remember my first one being quite anticlimactic. I was expecting the end of days to arrive, so I made an army and enlisted everyone on the server, only to get invaded by the bench press bros(imps)
Was on yesterday, chests have more junk now, more items to place but I don't need 20 giant war horns, very nice if you are starting fresh. World bosses have an inventory now but don't drop chest keys any more, killed three and no keys were dropped. Chest keys stack now, which is nice if they actually dropped keys. Battle pass is ok if you are into making your Treasure room look buffed out other than that it's muh. It would be impressive if they gave you the plans for the siege boulders instead of just 3 boulders at a time in the battle pass. Got the rest of the recipes from the archive now I never have to go there and waste shards again that was nice. The grass looks strange now. Lol Edit: I know it's a weird thing to complain about but there is to much stuff in chests now, they need to cut back on the number of things and amounts, inventory management is bad enough without adding 100 place - able items to the mix, the buff to the types of treasure for your coffer was nice, finding elephant hides in chests was a shock, ended up with 116, elephants are safe for now from the hunting. Lol
I dont know why, but during sandstorm I still take damage even while in my base...... also heal wraps don't help me in the storms either, it will stop damage but I gain no health...
If you're next to a door or window, you may take damage, otherwise it's just being buggy. The wraps mitigate damage you're receiving until the storm is over. Do you have mods running? Are you playing on official servers?
@Anabriella I have a huge base so no I'm not next to a window or door, I'm not running any mods as I'm playing on Xbox game pass for PC and they don't support mods, and yes I'm am on an official server.
Step 1, uninstall the game. The devs are wielding the nerf hammer all over the place while at the same time Ten Cent Funcom is going whole hog with monetization. Step 2, go find a game worthy of your time that won't punish you while playing.
I do apologise. I made it about into about 4 and a half of your vods (and saw every ad along the way lol) and it was so nice to watch through, but consistent pattern-less sounds have a severe affect on me (like irregular loud water drops, or the creek of a door due to wind) every time you "do do dooo" or "da da daam" my brain wants to find a rhythm and it's jarring because there is none. Thank you for the vods so far, really enjoyed the tempo at which you play through the early game and how you explain things along the way

It's impossible to play it right now! My heart is deeply broken as well 🥺 I am about to be done and starting to move on and dedicating my time and hard earned money on something else which I can actually play like Rocksmith+, sometimes I wish I had never stopped practicing playing my guitar!! Even though I'll surely be always here for you and continue supporting your channel the best that I can! 🤗❤
