As long as the mic symbol shows when you press the down button its working the menu will show other players that you have one

Thanks for the video. Discover and figuring out how things works is the best part of the game. Almost every city has a well to get drinkable water. Knife are the most valuable staff. Keep a few of it in inventory. It's get damaged pretty fast. But if you find grindstone, you can sharpen it.

Literally search every hut,building,tents, stay away from large areas until your well equipped,you can normally pick up some sort of weapon pretty quick

You definitely need to have a lot of patience with this game from starting out fresh to becoming fully geared.

Depends on the servers you join I personally like to find servers with boosted loot to get geared earlier and have some fare fun gun fights but if you like to do single life adventures / stories find servers without boosted loot or boosted food spawns

@@IstayMFstoned I have only played official. Literally just got off, I had a pretty good run. Was alive with the same character for over two weeks, decently geared, best geared I’ve been so far and got blasted at the well in Gorka.

2:51 In Chernarus, you fresh spawn near the coast, facing north. Landmarks provide the rest of the clues you need. 1) The sea is behind you, so you are probably on the south coast, not the east coast. It is not very close, so you are a little bit inland. 2) You are near a lateral (sideways) bridge to your northeast. 3) There is a sizeable mountain peak beyond and slightly to the right of the bridge 4) There is a train parallel to, and on the near side of the bridge. The right half of the train is hidden behind a low hill crest.

I know it's a year later but the online menu in game won't show your mic icon because that menu is used to mute other players, unless someone mutes you once you push-to-talk you're heard

Tip: if you can't find a Mele weapon use whatever extra items you can find. Even the extra boots OP found or the hard hat can save your hands from cuts when fighting zombies.

by the way.... If you have a mag on your hand and you off the menu screen, as long you got rounds on your person, you can auto load by pressing and hold Y

Its a DayZ console issue. You started the stream BEFORE starting the game then voip tends to not work, same if you are in a party BEFORE starting DayZ. Solution: Join/start party or stream AFTER you see title screen.

im pretty sure your mic is working fine, i seen the mic symbol flash when you double tapped down arrow i think. when you look at the voip list, a mic symbol doesn't appear beside your own name.

Idk if you have figured it out but make sure your mic isn't muted. And also unplug it and plug it back in. I also have a series X as well try that sometimes restarting the game after the changes will do it.

Idk if you know by now but if you go into the in game options you can change your voip options from push to talk or button map it a speaker symbol will pop up on the right side of your health bar when you hold what ever button you have mapped and speak

Definitely not using cyrylic letters in Poland as a general rule. Im struggling with reading that too, even if Im getting better. Im kinda sure the first sign says Prigorodki. There are online maps that help, even if you try to type what you see in latin alphabet. Also theres an app with maps for dayz that works simmilarly.

53:00 your mic is working when you push down it just didn’t show on there for some reasons I have the same thing. I think it just shows if the person does have a mic or not, for example, if they r on tv speakers instead of the headset

A cheat for when it’s night time turn the brightness and back light up on your tv and you can see clearly no need for flashlights they always give your position away

Different servers set up night time brightness differently. The one I’m in is litterally pitch black at night even with your brightness turned all the way up. Just brightens the darkness if anything lol

He plays officials , but I recommend playing on a community servers if you want more loot, but if you want to talk to people like fresh spawns play officials . I play on 92x loot cars/ I forgot it’s a good server with full cars And with the new Xbox dayz is so much fun

The mic was fine apparently. It just doesn't show your own mic in the list I looked of people on the server.

Regarding the mic issue in the beginning; my mic symbol doesn't show up in the online section for me, but I am still about to use proximity chat. Weird yours was choosing to be wonkey

If you dubble tab down your mic 🎤 will keep showing it instat of hold it amd when you see clothes or zombies with a plus ➕ symbol ... zombies /clothes /player etc means there is something in it as food tools or what ever is in there... and medic you can find it in every blue medic house even next to the medic house you can find sometimes medic as well just to give you this info for the next game play you do in dayz hope you already know it now if not its a free give away for you great video mate I follow you definitely and a great like.

It shows no mic when you're on console when you're on your profile everybody else shows mic but when somebody looks at your mic it shows you have a mic. Ps keep up the stream on dayz I have ran in to you ones

So Im on the fence about this game. Don't wanna spend 50 if I'm not gonna like it. What happens if you die? Do you have to start over completely and lose everything? Is there a leveling system?

Its permanent death. You can have a base with things stashed in it that you could then try to get back to to retrieve back up items or have some stuff stashed somewhere in case you die, but when you die you're starting a new character.

@@1div2agent74 Not really. Battle Royale implies you're getting down to only 1 character or team left in the game. This is more lie a persistent world on different servers. You can resapwn in the same server but you have to start all over again unless you had a stash of stuff or some teammates in game that can set you up with gear again.
