Great video, what rear camber do you usually run on this chassis with the 30mm valinos?
@RCPACE
@RCPACE Год назад
Usually 3-5ish but some people prefer 2-3

When you fly, do you bring a fully operational kit to include lipo batteries or do you just buy a new one once you arrive?
@RCPACE
@RCPACE 8 месяцев назад
I carry a full but minimal setup. I bring tools, batteries and some very basic spares including shock oil. Lipos in hand luggage, everything else checked in and well packed.

@@RCPACE Thanks for the info. I’m about to fly to Japan this week to checkout a few of the tracks and stores but I wasn’t too sure what was allowed.

@@mrcollie242 be sure to check with your airline but I haven’t had a problem since switching to lipos only in carry on

Hey mate, wicked build. Your videos inspired me to plan my own galm build. I have two questions regarding the rear TC suspension mounts and I hope you could answer both: 1. As far as I can see, overdose offers different widths, is the width difference purely for track width of the chassis? 2. On the rear of your chassis, you have a funny angle because of the widht-difference. Why did you choose this angle and what are the characteristics for choosing an angle? I thought that all suspension mounts need to be the same width. Thank you very much in advance for the help and keep up the great work!
@RCPACE
@RCPACE Год назад
The TC mount width options are to allow you to tune arm length as well as track width. A shorter arm (generally) generates more roll, assuming track width remains the same. The trailing angle on the rear effects corner performance (and technically bump control) so by using 6 degrees of trailing angle I have excellent mid-late corner performance and makes the car superb for chasing!

@@RCPACE Thanks mate. I will keep it in mind. I guess I´ll try a less drastic angle in the back. The front I will copy from your build I guess :)

what motor mount do you prefer for ptile? i wanna try rear mount but i just went fmms recently. opinions? just trying to make the car quicker
@RCPACE
@RCPACE Год назад
I think the rear motor is faster, but I prefer the high motor and feel like because I enjoy it more I have tuned it to be as fast as the rear motor. There isn't much difference in terms of speed, but feeling is better high motor IMHO I will continue to develop my rear motor and improve it.

Hello sir, you are using motor mount with idle gear. Do You need to reverse esc motor direction?
@RCPACE
@RCPACE 4 месяца назад
It will depend on your setup. You can also mount on the opposite side. I prefer Acuvance ESCs so you can easily change rotation direction if needed

Not really. Extreme temperate changes with a cheap plastic diff isn’t a recipe for a good seal. OD GALM ball diff wouldn’t have been an issue
