Zoe enjoy your time as a full time mummy. They grow so quick, and change everyday. I cherished every single day at home with my kids, they weren't all perfect and easy, but they were worth it. My now adult kids often tell me how lucky they were to have me be a full time mum, which I have to say people like to make you feel guilty for choosing to do that. No shade on anyone who chooses to work, through need or fulfilment but it isn't for everyone. My mum worked full time and I vowed to work hard until my thirties before I had kids, then be a stay at home mum. And thanks to the full support of my husband I was able to do that. Thank you for your wonderful vlogs xxxx💕💕💕

Gosh do I relate to this! Followed you since 2012. I’m almost 30, RU-vid became my career in 2016, still have the mindset of when I started and feeling I need to do more more, but it’s impossible to do everything! One of the best things I ever saw was - you have one life, you have to grieve the things you won’t have in this life. We won’t have everything which is why it’s important to celebrate the things we do!

Being in your 30's just hits differently. I'm turning 32 this year, have been watching you since the beginning, it feels like you're my longtime friend. And your words resonated so much with me as I can relate although in different circumstances. I've always craved my own independence, it was my goal ever since I can remember. Move to NYC and have my own apartment. And now that I'm living it, I feel like I haven't let myself fully enjoy it. When my daughter was Ottie’s age she loved a book called Say Hello to the Baby Animals by Ian Whybrow. She’s 16 now - enjoy your time with Ottie, it’s precious and you can never get it back. I gave up work to stay at home with my kids when they were little and I don’t regret it for a second, I’m in full time work now and miss those days 💗

Here's the thing. I'm in my forties now, and to some that sounds SO OLD, but I honestly feel like I was twenty-two a couple of years ago. It really does go so INCREDIBLY FAST. I don't feel like a middle-aged woman. And those years when my kids were babies and toddlers? I have ZERO REGRETS that I stayed home and was their mom for years. You NEVER get those years back. I have a career now, and I'm accomplishing different things, but I miss those crazy, hectic, exhausting years of my days being filled with little people. It was so precious. So for anyone struggling with staying home vs having it all, I will say the years go by so quickly. And jobs will always be there, but your kids will grow up, and you only get to do it once. 💜

Goals can be so rigid, whereas intention are more flexible and forgiving. To me it’s just about doing more or less than you did the year before. I think the special thing about RU-vid is the community is helping each other. The Content Creator is helping the viewers with whatever it is (making them not feel alone, taking their mind off of heavy things, being an escape from life) but the viewers are also helping the Creator to feel better about themselves or in some to have somebody to "talk" to. I tend to not watch a lot of RU-vid anymore (for no certain reason), but you're the only Creator (and Mark!!) I always come back to and always watch your videos. They are always so comforting and real and Ottie is just adding her own little character to it, which is more than adorable.

I loved this , making the choice to be present as much as possible whilst being a parent is brilliant. Both you and Alfie already have shown great parenting skills…accepting family input and help with caring for Ottie is important. Being a Mom or Dad is in my eyes 🤗everything….. It wasn’t the path for me but I’m an awesome Auntie. I can’t help it , but when ever Ottie appears in a video My smile gets way bigger. Bless her she is a total sweetheart it’s like sunshine when she walks in a room . Toward the end of last year I quit my retail job for many reasons, one being my health. I’ve got a lot of food allergies that affect my daily life and diet. i loved this video! loved the trip down memory lane and love hearing about how you started, even though i have heard it 100 times lol I wasnt around during the brit crew days but i have went back and watched all your guys videos from that time, you guys were truly the lucky ones:) alsooo you might like to know that you were the first ever youtuber i ever watched and i really didnt think i would like youtube videos as i was such a series girl back then but you turned me into a dedicated youtuber and i still only really watch the people you introduced me to like joe, alfie, louise, mark ect. I’ve been always a silent watcher even though I’m watching you since probably 2013 and since then I’ve watched every video on both of your channels and I have to say a huge thank you for being such a huge safe space and being one of my comforting person on the Internet! Thank you Zoe, I feel often I’ve done nothing after a day with my toddler- another mum said ‘ don’t you get bored at home all day’ really hurt my feelings because sometimes yes but also she was shaming me for not working. It was quite horrible.

Oh Zoe! My youngest just left for college this past year and I cherish the fact that I was able to be home for both my girls when they were little. I had a career before becoming a Mom and struggled with everything you mentioned. We are so hard on ourselves and there will be 1,000 things you will question and second guess, but spending more of those precious early years with Ottie will not be one of them.

You are the only person who knows what is right for you and your family. Time does fly by so quickly. I look at Ottie and see my baby girl Kylie at that age. My girl will be 16 next month. So enjoy every second. Enjoy all the giggles, the running to get animal games and hearing her say mummy as long as you can. It will be gone in a blink. Sending you so much love.
