Since people keep asking: He didn't have time to listen to all the models, but was interested. I'll try and sort out a time for him to come round and do so and shoot his thoughts.
Can you have him come back and bring his current headphones (I assume they would be vintage if he has been out of the game for a while)? And then he could compare your state of the art to his daily headphone? That would be cool. Just a thought. Loved the video.
Fun video, watched it all the way through. Maybe have another friend who's up to date on the hifi world do a blind listening test with each and rate + guess the cost of each one? Also, any chance for a Chord Qutest review? :)
@@allydea isn't he right? Somalia of Europe... And Ukraine pretty much the same story. Why did they manage to produce the high quality driver? Because that's what has left from the USSR's legacy. People were taught well and USSR created different industries and manufactures even in "Somalia" of its own.
a friend ho owns marshall headphones and bose speakers almoust freaked out when i says i spended over 500 dollars on my sonus faber pryma headphones what woud he say when i buy the focal clear
@@Currawong It's fine, one can't possibly know and remember everything. It would be worse if you just replied "Yeah, whatever, Ukraine, Romania, who cares really?" like some people do. I appreciate your work. Have a nice day.
We ran out of time. There were plans for him to come back and listen to them, but they never materialised. I have it in mind to have another friend come and both guess before and after listening.
Currawong has headphones coming in weekly. He doesn't need to care whether one of his current crop gets scuffed or whatever. BTW, I don't think there is anything wrong with how he's handling them. Just look at how Jimsreviewroom twist and turn every headphones he review. This is considered as babying in comparison to that
