@@gabrielasolgabi8831 his speaking cadence and his choice of classical music and him covering little details of his morning is very Bateman. I’m sure he’s aware of that and used it as inspiration.
I am a student and employee at Harvard Law School who has been enjoying your videos for some time. I always keep an eye out for you as I stroll through campus. Quantum Boy, I will find you one day!
This made me emotional, lol. It’s nice to see someone appreciate the little things in life for once. We all live in a world that moves too fast. I can’t remember the last time I walked slowly and looked my surroundings in great detail, especially on my way to class.
he appreciates the small things because he works hard mentally. everyone thinks of studying hard and backs out because they think ‘why bother’ but it’s not just about the grades it will get you, it’s about the mind set it puts you in which is tranquil
I was intrigued by the title but I stayed for the narration. The atmosphere you create with your videos and the way you mix narration and videos back to back, not solely narrating each scene nor simply using video material as a background for your narration, feels almost poetic in its simplicity and honesty and sounds like listening to an audio book of a modern classic. I was thinking "Bright Lights, Big City" or any novel like it which throws you directly into the author's world and provides coherent narration with a few spontaneous thoughts thrown in from time to time. Great content. I feel you'll succeed at whatever it is you put your mind to.
Your videos have such an incredible vibe. I genuinely feel motivated to study and fulfil my dreams when I see the content that you put up. The story telling style is amazing. Love this channel
@@theriddler482 That's an interesting view. I do intend to go to a good uni, but that isn't my end goal in life. I just wish to get a good education-which will help me turn intuition into ideas with facts and figures. There's no harm in wanting to go to a good uni, it isn't life threatening
this man spoke the same way my mind tells me things. for instance, i love to appreciate the simple things in life, and thinking about the most random but deep thoughts that come to mind and it’s endearing to see someone have that same mentality and share their daily life with that type of commentary.
I don't know if it's the cadence you speak with, or the Hemingway-esque character of your sentences, but there's genuine literary merit in your videos that's rare on RU-vid. They're like a Satie composition or a haiku given a narrative twist. I really enjoy them!
The first time I saw your videos, I was fascinated by your narratives. I can see that all you have said have come out of long hours of thought and your humble attitudes and perceptions of your work, life, and people. I felt like an alien in the U.S when I did a Ph.D. in history. Your journey reminds me of my Ph.D. life. I enjoy your videos so much and appreciate you. You are already a great writer, poet, and director and will soon be a children's book author! My first time ever leaving a comment on youtube, but I want to say something. Thank you from South Korea!
Binge watched all your videos lately and really loved them. It's nice to see what one can accomplish when he keeps working towards a goal. The change in perspective really helped me to find a median in my expectations from life. Thanks and greetings from Germany
It's interesting how he made an autobiography without actually showing his face. He describes his life in such a familiar way to the point where it feels like you already know what it looks like.Good contrast mate wish more stuff like this was used in movies.
besides how artfully constructed and executed your video is, if for whatever reason physics doesn’t work out for you i think you’ve got a calling as an audiobook reader. your voice is the most pleasant, relaxing thing i’ve ever heard. phenomenal video!
thank you for creating this. This felt nothing like a normal "Day in the Life" video that I was expecting. I felt as though I was a quiet spectator to your thoughts. You managed to tell us all we need to know about you in a way that felt genuine, like we were discovering more about why your day unfolded that way it did. I hope to purchase your children's book for my future child one day.
Just started studying physics this year, so I really appreciate seeing this type of content, as physics majors tend to not be the ones that make inspiring and beautiful videos such as this one! I also relate a lot to the admiration you seem to have for nature and small things in life. As mentioned in other comments, the story you're telling seems to be the fruit of long contemplation and deep reflection! Anyways, please keep making such great videos.
This is so simple yet so heart-touching. I don't know if it's the way you tell stories or just how beautiful life is in its simplicity. I started dropping tears when you started talking about the oak tree. I think you, my friend, have a gift. I think that when 22 from "Soul" came down to earth to be born, it became you. Thank you for this 9-minute journey. It was delightful.
This video is calming. The key and the tempo of the piano really carry the feeling. A lot of solitude and the dry/deep narration gives it a sentimental value to it. The almost nostalgic or meloncholy undertone is fascinating. A lot of personal commentary making it feel as if we get to see the interworkings of you.
I teared up a little watching this. I love how you explained every moment in your day with detail, like a novel. I feel like in college, a lot of people get busy and don’t take the time to just feel but constantly be on their feet and do, do, do. But you didn’t just go through your day but fully experienced it, and brought us along with you. You didn’t even need to constantly speak over the video, I just experienced whatever you did. You made every little thing seem special and appreciated. You also captured some amazing shots of Harvard and Harvard Square! Widener Library seems likes a dream. Keep inspiring! And hopefully, you can create that children’s book you’ve always wanted to. 📚🍂
Wow I did not expect to find myself so entranced by the calm of all this. Just a lovely video in the chaos of the world and the internet. Gotta love your methods of storytelling.
I am really inspired by your video, amazing job! Thank you a lot. When I was in high school I wanted to study physics in college so so much. I ended up being in business and marketing class. This short story of your day makes me think about changing my future because It's fascinating!
Hello, Quantum boy! Loved the longer format! You're an amazing story teller and your videos are worth watching! Ps.: Your outfit is on point! And when you finish your book, I'm going to buy it for sure! Have a great weekend! Cheers from Brazil!
This is such a beautiful video with a fantastic and fitting vibe, along with the narration. I was drawn in and I never for one moment decided to let go. Great video.
This is the most beautiful and relaxing video i've ever seen. Your life seems so simple, yet you inspire all of us with it. Thank you, for sharing your creations.
You are the best storyteller for me. I wish I can express anything and everything the way you do. I just want to have your eyes for a day and how you articulate everything that you see. Love.
thank you for the tour and for sharing your day. I really hope that you will get your oak tree and the dog and watch your kids growing up. you really have the ability to put beauty into small things. good luck on the book too!!
This inspired me and motivated me to appreciate the little things. As a medical student, thanks a lot and keep doing your videos, they are really good.
not once did he show his face...that only gives the viewer the ability to imagine themself as this student. the monolog is insanly cool and monotounous but also interesting. One of the best, most well put together, and emotional short films (yes I would call this a short film) that I have watched in a while. Phenomenal job man, keep it up.
I'd like to study physics so I happened to find your video. I really like your video style. All the little and not so little things you talk about while telling about your day make it feel like home. Keep going!
I am a biology major and had a wicked cool conversation about particle physics with a professor from MIT, and i got to UMB in Boston, love reading physics for fun to help understand the world around us. I wish i was better at math I am sure I would have become a physics student. Also love the Richard Feynman pic in the room
Nothing from stopping you from learning math in your spare time. I was a high school drop out. Spent years struggling in the workforce doing all the monotonous dead end jobs like security, dish washing, brick laying and sales. I'm now 36 and gone back to high school to learn all the math and science subjects I have been fascinated by all these years. It's not easy but if you have a curiosity about something, it overcomes the daunting hurdles yet to come. Being a major in biology, you obviously have a scientific mind so am sure it would not take much for you to get a handle of all forms of mathematics. The next 50 years for mankind is going to be truly ground breaking. Be nice to be part of it.
In the beginning i found life at harward is boring but at the end it made me little emotional. I've also got dream to study in Harvard but I know it won't be fulfilled. btw the way you narrate is really appreciable. just a teen girl...from India💗
Watched your video for the first time and really loved it. There is something extremely positive about the way you tell a story. I always wanted to study in US or UK, but due to political and financial restraints being a middle class Pakistani kid, I couldn't. Over the past few years I killed my this dream, but seeing your video has made my hope alive again. If not me, I'll send my kids some day there so that they can live the dream I couldn't. Keep making such videos, appreciate it.
I love the voiceover, but only your voice but also your thoughts and perspectives, and the cinematography gives off very comforting vibes, I loved the video, keep going ♡
i'm a physics student as well, but i dont do 80% of what you do lol. i discovered your channel through this video and i can't wait to see more! i love your vibe especially the narration.
Can you make a video about how you were and what efforts you took to be consistent in your studies and how you overcame your failures? Something like a motivational video? I really need it from you
No matter where one may be or what he/she does on a daily basis, that person's experiences are made up of very simple and basic feelings and observations. And you captured these experiences very well in your video. I feel your passion, so follow you dreams and make the world happy and reflective at the same time. Good physicists are a dime a dozen (I don't mean that, but always wanted to say it), but great writers are what the world needs.🙂
This was perfect for this Saturday! I felt joy this morning and nostalgic of the Fall season and haven’t felt that way in a long time! Listening to your vlog made my day even better.
Your videos are nice -- I like the style and simplicity. I am a 2nd year Biochemistry PhD at a different institution. It's nice to see doctoral life through such a clean and simplified lens. It rarely feels that way. Keep going!
I just applied to Harvard for physics department. Your beautiful story telling has made me more hopeful and optimistic. Hope to research in quantum information maybe under your guidance someday. Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
I am so glad to see a comment from a Pakistani guy. I know about QAU in Pakistan. Abdus Salam was a great Pakistani physicist. Many people don't know that Pakistan has some great universities and world-class scientists. Good luck with your career, brother! From Nepal.
@@Kath-N yes even with a population of 220 million, Pakistan had only one STEM noble laureate Dr Abdus Salam. Being the only noble laureate on the other side meant an ability to make a huge impact and he has huge contributions to his country 🙌
@@physicswithbilalasmatullah Prof. Salam was not your average Nobel prize winner. He was responsible for the unification of electromagnetic force and weak nuclear force. His contributions to Pakistan and the world was great. Mahbub ul Haq was a major contributor to human development theories and had he lived longer, he would have won the Nobel Memorial Prize in economics. I do acknowledge the intellectual side of Pakistan.
This has been one of the best RU-vid videos I have seen in a long time just something about the simplicity in life and I cried when he started to talk about the tree and dogs.
