Love your PML content! I’d love to see you add more of your Everyday PML videos. They are super helpful in getting ideas to use these palettes without going full glam. Thanks!
I managed to find the Bronze Bliss palette because of your videos, and OMG, that silver shade...is just amazing :) I love watching your videos but don't always have time to leave comments, so I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for doing all this work on top of your day job. Your videos are very professional, positive, super useful, and you always look beautiful - I order a lot online because I don't really have a fully stocked Sephora near me, so it's very helpful to know ahead of time what to expect and what might be best for me to order. I recently got back into doing makeup after years of not really using much makeup...aaand, I have become a big PMG fan (not much really comes close in terms of her eyeshadows, I keep getting compliments when I wear her special shades!!), but I really appreciate that you also show indie brands like Oden's Eye and Lethal, etc. I also really appreciate that you show how to do looks using a variety of colors - it's amazing to see how almost every color story can look great, if you choose well. Right now I am now wearing shades that I never thought I would and it looks awesome :) I would love to continue to see more videos on how to use the different PMG palettes. Right now I'm enjoying the Moonlit seduction and the Decadence palettes (never thought I would buy the Decadence, but like you, I took the plunge...and wow. Even a beginner like me can do something amazing in a few minutes with that one!) The one thing that does bother me about PMG, other than the hefty price point, is the packaging. I am surprised that no one on You Tube has commented on how heavy and unsustainable it is...I just have these visions of PMG mothership palettes being rediscovered by archaeologists like a thousand years later in perfect shape :(( I would love for her to either amp up her cardboard palettes (if Oden's Eye can have gorgeous one, so could she...) or to offer credit for returning the palettes to her (kind of like Mac used to) for recycling or upcycling. Or she could release each Mothership in the plastic version as well as a sustainable, more travel-friendly cardboard version and you could choose? Why oh why does no one ever talk about this? Why does luxury have to equal something that's totally bad for our environment, and we will end up paying for it? Anyway, done with my little rant, THANK YOU heaps again for all your hard work.
Oh thank you so much for the lovely comment Adela. I'm so happy my videos have been helpful in anyway. I love that your playing with different shades! And also that you love Decadence as much as me! I'll be honest and say (ignorantly) I never thought of the environmental impact. Which is totally bad. I think I'm just used to luxury makeup being this heavy packaging I never thought about it but you are completely right. I really like the idea of having the environmental options or amping up her cardboard packaging. I'd also like her to see her make her shades removable so you can replace one like Lisa Eldridge does 💗💗
I love the idea of using the silver shade and just barely tapping other shades on top of it to tinge it with a hint of another color! I’m going to try that!! Thanks for sharing your continued PML experiences and recommendations ❤️
Congrats on 11K! Here’s to 12K, I’m sure you’ll be there soon! You know we love a good PMG Labs video! I regret not getting that Bronze Blitz eyeshadow palette. That silver is just divine Edit to add that I actually love her stick highlighters so much. I get compliments whenever I wear it, but based on comments you’ve made in other videos, I don’t think you’d like it. It really does give such a natural but blinding glow
Thank you so much Stefanie! She needs to sell that silver shadow as a single I think haha That's so funny cos I actually tried the cream highlight in store yesterday and I liked the tinted end but the balm end reminded me of the westman atelier lit sticks which I don't super love 💗💗
Thank you for the tip about spraying your sponge directly rather than your face. I've never seen anyone do that and it makes sense especially for those setting sprays that don't have the best sprayers. Have a wonderful day! :)
I'm so down for a full face of Pat McGrath!! I've been dedicating this whole month to wearing my Pat McGrath eyeshadows for the month of April and thoroughly enjoying every look thus far!!!! Her eyeshadows are my favorite product then it would be her lip glosses, especially the sparkly ones! Her Satin Allure lipsticks are amazing and my favorite shades are Negligee, Venusian Peach, and Nude Romantique 2. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything PM. I do own every product she has and highly recommend them. I do wish she would come out with another foundation that gives a little more coverage and a cream bronzer or cream blush. I'm still waiting on my bronzers. Her shipping could use some help to but other than that her products are worth the wait! Lovely look Martina!!! Those cool tones and that silver is stunning! ❤ Can't wait for your ranking video! I need to do one on my IG after this months use of PM. I wonder how much our tastes would differ!! 😂
Thanks Melina! I love that you've been doing a whole month of Pat. Every time I pick up her shadows after playing with others I get so hooked on them again haha And agreed that you can't go wrong with anything from her. I'm so surprised by her shipping for you guys because touch wood I honestly get my orders so quick from her. I don't know if it's cos it's a different warehouse for international though? And yes I'd be so interested to see our rankings side by side haha 💗💗
I recently bought a very pigmented pink/ red which blended out comes out to a pretty pink from haus labs. The container is so pretty silver with a mirror.
Is there such a thing as too much Pat content? Not to me there isn’t! 😂😂😂😂 Loved this eye combo! I’m doing it tomorrow! I just picked up the Bridgerton baked blush palette. Omg the formula is amazing!! I love her blush line, but this baked formula is fantastic too. I’d love more shades in this formula! I’m going to take the bulky packaging apart and keep the 3 blushes (the highlighter is too glittery for my preference)
Awesome video, I love your Pat content ❤ I’m excited for a future rankings video, and I loved the Everyday Pat series you did last year with all of your palettes. That would be amazing to repeat again 😘
I have seen and loved your videos of your top PMG metallics and PMG special shades. I would love to see your top PMG mattes (although we know the shades from Velvet Liaison would win) - I am greedy. Thanks for the beautiful reviews :)
I like Pat MG blushes, I have electric bloom and want to get the shade in cherish. Her stuff is mostly put of my budget but I tried the concealer, under eye powder and have the Mothership 1 palette which I got in her sales and loved them. The brigerton blush palette with a highlighter is something I would love to get
So I’ve finally hit pan in my current holy grail bronzer ( the bronzer in the filmstar bronze and glow duo compact) but i don't want to repurchase it because it is a duo product compact and I've never really touched the highlighter so i am now sear searching for a new bronzer while I continue to use up the one in the fiilmstar compactand nude honey is now definitely on the short list 😆😍, hope you are having a good week 💕
@@MartinaLily i think I’ve pretty much decided that the next time there is a PM sale I will pick the lightest bronzer and at least one of the 3 six pan palettes and i am trying to talk myself out of the blush because i feel like since i have the devine rose duo blush one of those 2 shades is close enough to it buuuuuut i want it 😆🎉🥳🎊😆
Thanks so much for doing this make up, it is so good. I have a lot make up but it is a more simple makeup not to over the top but it is so great what u do 😊
that is what happens to me too with coconut products! I get full on little red spots all over my entire face! thank you for saying this bc I have been curious about her primer and I would have been so sad to have that happen to me again! charlotte tilbury powders do that to me too sadly
Love the earrings with the shadow! I’m loving the bronzer as well, the color is perfect! I just picked up the L2, hoping it will be a better match for me. Thanks for the inspo, you look gorgeous as usual!
How do the satin allure lippies wear? I haven’t purchased that formula yet but might during the next sale…. Her lippies are normally long-lasting but I heard the newer formula (satin allure) wasn’t… thoughts? And yes, PML has the BEST highlight formula!!! I have the same highlighters and I’m on the complete opposite color scale as you and they both look great on me! I love you PML content, make the videos you want! We’ll watch them! I love that your channel is mostly PML content, that’s why I watch 😊
They definitely don't wear super long like her other lipsticks for sure. For me they last about an hour ish depending on how much I've drank coffee or water in that hour haha For me it's fine cos you can reapply them pretty much like a lip balm but if you want long wearing I think stick with her other formula 😊 And so agree with the highlighters. The fact that she can make her shades stretch across the skin tones is phenomenal 🙌 And thank you so much!! 💗💗
Love that you dipped into that silver shade again! It is sooo beautiful, I was speechless using that shade for the first time haha. Thank you for giving me the inspiration using it again, last time was new years 🙈 I think you influenced me buying it!! No regrets at all😁I’m on a no-buy these months because I just bought a house with my fiancé! But watching you using PM products makes me want to buy more of her eyeshadows, that love collection plus her quads intrigue me so much! Do you think her love collection is permanent? In that case I can wait ;) Love from the Netherlands❤️
Ohh yay, I'm glad you love it as much as me! It really is so pretty. Also congratulations on your house! That is huge and definitely worth the no buy! I actually don't know if the love collection is permanent. I haven't heard that it isn't 🤔💗💗
Martina, if you like 'special shades', you should swatch some Givency Eye Palettes. I bought one at Christmas which impressed me so much that I've bought each one in the range with the exception of one to go. You can't go by the pictures you see, yet test them for yourself in person. You don't need IntensifEYES sticks either to make them perform, as you do with Pat McGrath. There are some shades in her Subversive Mothership that don't even show up, even with setting spray. I finally got one to work yesterday by layering it over black with as much of the IntensifEYES that I could possibly add. Throughout my own vast collection of shadows, I've got endless shades that are just as special than Pat McGrath's, if not better. I realise you love PML but not everything should be compared to her 'special shades' as they aren't all that special to everyone. Maybe it would be better if you didn't compare other shadows at all, yet speak of them in their own right? It would be much more fair and unbias. Personally, I'm not as thrilled with PML Motherships or her other palettes than you are, yet can still find joy in using them without comparing to other palettes I own. Each palette should have it's own time to shine when being reviewed without the need to be held up each time to PML. By the way, if you haven't been on her website, the Star Wars Sith five-pan palette is only $43.00! Also, the Voyeuristic Vixen Quad is down to $70.00. If you get the Quad and Lipstick, they're $105.00. She has a bunch of other items reduced as well from Star Wars and regular range. I do prefer it when you do the mattes first in your eye looks, as they look more together and blended. It's hard to try to add depth to the outer edge with all that glitter down. Just continue to do what you prefer, I'm simply giving my two cents worth. Take care.🇦🇺💖🕊
I have the Givenchy palettes on my wish list actually based off your rec. I wanted to get one in the last Sephora sale here but the color story I want to try was sold out unfortunately. I totally understand what you are saying about the special shades not being special to everyone and not comparing etc. I like to compare because more of my audience found me through our shared love of Pat and that's their comparison levels etc. I'll usually get the questions in the comments etc Plus to me the formula is special but so are others equally. I like to reference the glitter fallout too from Pats shades cos I know most people understand that reference if I'm explaining the texture of a shadow. Anyhoo we are all different which is what makes the world go round
@@MartinaLily Unfortunately, I found Sephora to be lacking in re-stocking the Givency Palettes and only got one in their last Sale. I have ordered from DJ's who have them all in stock, the last time I checked. They do price-match Sephora, yet not Online and unfortunately don't sell Givency in store. Luckily, Myer does but I'm not sure if they match prices. The only one I'm lacking is 9.03, the pinkish one. Goodness knows when we'll ever get the last Christmas Palette, as the previous one took a year to arrive. @Cheri Voyage did a good video on that one. It does only have one matte, yet it's still easy to work with. There's a new palette being released at Myer in warmer shades in July, probably for the Northern Hemisphere Fall. I was really surprised at how lovely the shades and shadows applied. The one with the distinct green shade is a great palette, especially for more smokier looks. The pictures never do these palettes justice. I understand what you mean by using Pat's shadows to compare with as so many own them, so there's that commonality. I only bought my first Mothership towards the end of last year and it was Subversive. I was quite let down by three of the special shades. The pinks could barely be seen when swatched or applied with setting spray and the Blitz Amethyst was a disappointment too. It wasn't until I bought the other Motherships that I understood these shades. As I was wanting to try some Motherships, I kind of went overboard with buying 5, I grabbed a couple of IntensifEYES which did help. It's only with Subversive that mine didn't impress. When I saw you swatch yours, they did a much better job than mine. Maybe after some more use, they might pick up their performance. It's probably the hardest colour story to work with from the range. I was impressed by her first two Celestial Palettes and there are shades in these that are amazing. It's funny how we get hooked on wanting to buy more. I then bought the Bridgertons and haven't stopped, despite the 5 Motherships. I would like Decadence and the second one, Sublime (?), so I'll keep an eye on Sephora and Pat's next big Sale. So much for cutting back on palettes! They bring much joy and that's what I find is important. Hope you put your name down at Mecca for the Byredo Kalahari Palette which they're stating will return. I've been trying to get the Remembrance Palette but they're updating their computer system and can't give me the info yet. Glad you enjoyed yours. It makes it much easier that they only release one per year, especially with the amount of shadows included. Thanks for sending down the warmer weather, it's been beautiful sunny days down here! Take care.💖
@@RoseOfMadina I've always seen them online and the colours looked nice, yet not enough to inspire me to purchase, especially when I hadn't heard anyone else review them. Earlier this year, I saw the 2021 Holiday Eye Palette released and out of curiosity decided to try it. Even though there was only one matte, the shadows were amazingly soft and the colours were never done justice by the photos. What appeared to be white was actually an iridescent colouring. They'll have a few shades that shift colours in their regular palettes, which perform beautifully too. The mattes blend seamlessly and the shimmer shades can certainly pack a punch. Even the double ended brush that comes in each palette works very well when applying. If you like a smokey look, the 9.02 with the vibrant green is a great palette. It has a gorgeous light antique gold which looks great with all the other shades, which I used with a smokey grey and then I used the green to line underneath along my lower lash-line. It looked amazing. As there are 9 shades in each palette, there's so much that can be done, from mature stylish looks to something bright and editorial. @Cheri Voyage did a review of the 2021 Holiday Eye Palette on her You Tube Channel which is worth checking out. I have all the palettes except for 9.03 which is the more pinkish palette. If you like peach shades, that palette has some lovely shifty shades. Even the purple palette has the most beautiful shimmery metallic mauve and great silver. If unsure, swatch them beforehand if you can. As I live 4hrs away from my nearest stores that stock these, I just waited to be surprised when ordering each one. These aren't anything like PML, yet a softer, stylish version that can be worn softer or amped up. I do recommend you watch Cheri's video, as she shows them both dry and wet. She also shows how an all shimmer look can easily work. If you're interested in any particular palette, let me know and I can try to describe the shades. They're releasing a warmer toned palette in July (in Australia), although we still haven't received the one from last Christmas. These palettes are great for a professional work environment, for mature lids but work just as well on someone younger who doesn't want to wear a vibrant shimmery look everyday. On our Sephora website, they had a bunch of quick tutorial videos that can help you see how Givenchy applied them. I realise they aren't exactly cheap, yet they are cheaper than Dior's L/E Quints and much more content than Chanel. It depends on whether you feel these are worth the outlay. You can always wait for a Sephora Sale too. I haven't tried anything else from the brand, only the Eye Palettes and so glad I did. Let me know if you want more info on a particular palette, Kris.💖
I enjoy PML and love the love you have for the brand! I’m reevaluating buying from this brand with them not including ingredients on the listing. This tells me there’s something to hide and is not inclusive. Talc is so outdated. I emailed when the sale was on for ingredients (actual allergy) and have not yet had a response. The shipping issues have gone on too long with the brand.
