2’13 best run no notes, segment-based baselines spoiler below Congrats on no notes! I love your videos. Even when we solve completely differently, there is something to learn simply because I did not see the puzzle this way enough to experience some things. The plethora of 1s and 2s is enticing, but there is an easier way to start after a few local placements - baselines. Three in fact. A baseline is a segment in which solving a digit resolves another digit in that segment, and so on Often the entire segment, or all but an a pair or triplet, can be completed at once. This is often partially determined by cross segment length. c2 completely resolves at the start. r7 is close enough to finish if you do it after c2. r2 is solid as well. To start, I touched things up in the NW, took the c2 baseline to the SW, worked there, and that r7 baseline to the SE. Then the r2 baseline. You resolve r2 and r7 somewhat by using high digits first, but not at once. Later, you finished r7 as a baseline, but doing the three given baselines first, low to high, makes the solve simple and fast. I posted a short of this portion of my solve just to show what I’m talking about here. If it will not link, it's on my channel.
