A* GCSE Unit 1 Art book (FULL MARKS) 

I'm in yr11 now and we have so little freedom and creativity is quite looked down on for some reason its quite annoying as everything we do is copy's of other people's work☹️ but your work is soooo good and creative well done for the A* !!!

What bugged me about GCSE art was that you had to do more writing than actual creating :/

Dude what the hell my school didn’t let us do anything this fancy for our sketch books we literally were only allowed to stick down our work in the book and thats it..... the hell

Wow, I want to be in a Art class like yours, it looks so creative and like you are making serious art, nothing like at our schools art class (but it also looks like A LOT of work!, probs to you for keeping up with it!)

It's the extra work you did at 11:01: I saw it online and thought how well it symbolises identity with the way the words are integrated within the figure itself. This is such a weird coincidence lol😂

😍😍😍 everything in that book is incredible!!! Even the way you ripped the info pieces of paper then stuck them in, and all the different backgrounds! My friend is doing GCSE art and she spends more time doing backgrounds than anything else! 😂

You improved from year 9's sketchbook so much! However I would love to do galaxies and solar system with silhouettes, but we're doing leaves; flowers; watercolour and lemons. Wish we could choose from our comfort zone like you, but I guess not everybody is lucky.

I hated doing all that stuff at the time, but now I'd love to give it a go again.

I love the way you make collages, and find creative ways to stick it in in layers and such

The fact that your book was better than mine in year 10...i have a horrible art teacher.. Very misleading and let us do our own work without any help... I'll definitely get a grade 2...probably at the end of this year(year 11)?? Everyone in the class and so as i are far behind.I honestly blame the art teacher for that, and the fact that she tries to keep everyone behind school is absolutely nuts, she doesn't even care when i had my mocks she just said 'oh but you didn't study for art'. The only study for art is a bunch of words, how's that helpful... Its basically like English... The teacher made me hate art... Maybe because i don't really understand the concepts of art and ive just only like to draw... But everything was so strict and structured... When i made one of a few mistakes my teacher would've shout at me.. Lecture me for a straight whole hour... Like it can never be fixed... At this point i dont care anymore.. All i want is just to finish this and give up in art... Being an artist never was meant for me. As i still dont have the common skills of that.

No offence, but it's unfair that certain good pieces don't get full marks, yet yours did

I'm doing GCSE art and this morning we were told that we will be skipping the identity section and if we want to do it we have to do it at home (in my school we do 3 big topics for the coursework which means I miss out on 20% of my grade for coursework)

for my mom exam project that I'm doing now and my y10 project we never got given a sketchbook where we had to do all of our work from, yes we do homework from some sketchbooks that we have but its nothing like yours or any others I've seen, we just do it on a2 sheets of paper and have plastic folders for all of our sheets

Im in year 10 rn doing gcse art. I always run out of time in class when everyone else has nearly finished and i just barely started. I mean mine looksbetter (no shade😂) but i have a feeling that for the end of year test im not gonna be able to finish in the time given

In 2018 GCSE art grades are harder to get for whatever reason I made a paper dress with this tin foil wrap thing which cut me lots of times, ended up bleeding and did some realism drawings of nature, three whole books worth of 1 year of art and still got a (C) which is a hardly pass and to me I deserved a A tbh.

That's so cool to be allowed to do real assignments in sketchbooks? We all have to have the exakt same sketchbook in class and big assignments have to be turned in on extra papers so the sketchbook never fills unless you do like 85% private drawings in it

Hi I am a student who is completing my gcse art early,the topics i have done is 1 full sketchbook on natural forms and spirals then the 2nd topic is confectionary do you think i should mount my confectionary things in another book or should i put them on boards to get top marks? I have also only got 2 A3 big pieces do you think thats enough for the whole thing? any help is much appreciated! thank you :)

my school is so strict with art if someone handed that in with all written on annotations there would be murder
