Hola amigos. Please don't pay attention to the small minded people that criticised. Your videos are funny, interesting and informative, so keep it up. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're doing well.
You two are our favorite Mexico vloggers! We are planning on retiring somewhere in MX in the future and your videos have been so helpful. I enjoy your humor and your down to earth way of presenting pros and cons. I can't wait for you to head over to Merida and the Yucatan. 😁
A good traveler has no need to leave tracks; a good speaker leaves no grounds for rebuttal; a good trader needs no scales; a good door needs no latch to remain shut; a good fastener needs no rope to perfect it's bond. The truly wise are helpful to people. No one is rejected. The truly wise are helpful to everything. Nothing is rejected. This is double enlightenment. Tangerine Travels has double enlightenment, that's what make you guys great!
Since laska is part of your crew you should change your name to tangerine tregua :) the three tangerines :) I'm juan luis tovar and love that you are learning spanish I was born in Chicago and sent to zacatecas for my high school years where I learned fluent spanish I would love to help you out with the pronunciation of some words if you have messenger on Facebook I could give you free courses and would love to chat with tangerine tregua :) god bless and hoping you visit more of zacatecas
The Cannon G7X is also very affordable like that Sony camera and of course makes a ton of difference going from iPhone to an actual camera. Nice video keep them coming .
I saw a comment on this video that saying that you should do your videos in Spanish so you can get more Spanish speakers audience; Saying that I wan to offer my help for adding Spanish subtitles to your videos
I know this video is two years old, but I so enjoy going back. I think I will subscribe because you sound like you are singing when you talk. (Ha Ha) It is amazing what people can find to complain about! We love all three of you.
Alebrijes LMAO 😂 I’m so happy for you guys, when i watch a video of you for the first time you have only 1,500 subscribers and now you have 21k, that’s amazing. Keep doing great videos, i love you both and Laska.
Your videos are always so informative and I love your humor & upbeat personalities. I am a missionary in La Paz, 70 years old & walk with a cane. I love traveling vicariously with you guys all over Mexico, but don't need to leave my casita. Thanks so much for your lively videos! Bless you guys & Laska!
You Three are a blast and your perspective from Mexico is a thrill. Honestly your singing and humor are the reason I watch! Or is it your Adventures. Maybe it's the Food and Nature footage! Nope it's Alaska.🐕"Singing at the top of my LUNGS" 🍹🍹
I love that the three of you are so entertaining💕💖💕 Your puns, jokes, teasing, southern accents, silliness, singing etc. makes the videos extra fun to watch😎
Hey guys! I just want to say I really like your videos, I just recently started watching them and I have to say it's awesome you guys are in Ajijic! That's my home town! So, I wanna make some some suggestions on were you could go for lunch and answer your question about the buses 😂 First of all the buses, this is easy, the small buses, like the yellow one you mentioned, are the ones that go into town, they can either be yellow or red it doesn't matter, if it's a small one it goes through town. Now, there are two larger buses, both of them just stay in the highway, ALTHOUGH, be careful because there are certain buses that say "DIRECTO" in the front window, this means they do not go to chapala and are headed to Guadalajara through the main highway. If it doesn't say "directo" and instead there's a bunch of little signs that say "Chapala, ixtlahuacana, etc, etc...." THEY DO go through chapala and afterwards they are headed to Guadalajara 😁 I know it's sounds a little complicated but it's really quite easy once you identify each kind of bus.
I returned from a visit to the Guadalajara area yesterday. Ajijic was my favorite! It’s a great place to decompress. While I was walking through the town about every third person I saw was middle-to-older-aged Caucasian. I hope to go back to spend more time there. It’s a charming place.
First of all. I love your channel. I am from Guadalajara, and watching how you guys appreciate things that we locals usually take from granted is awesome. I thank you for the respect you always show to our culture and customs, even when criticizing it, or commenting on things you don't like or could be better, you always do it with respect. Couple of comments on this video: Let your dog loose, what's the point of taking her hiking, if it will remain leashed the whole time. It is a dog, that will know that it can eat. Second: Try "La Iguana de Piedra" in Jocotepec. Awesome place to eat right at the lake, it is a little bit more fancy, but totally worth it. Third and last: A place I strongly recommend you to visit, specially this time of the year, are the Guachimontones, which are some archeological ruins which are about an hour far from GDL, those are at the top of a mountain which has an amazing scenic view of a dam, that has some really nice restaurants where you can go to after visiting the place. It is really awesome. Again, I am a local, if you guys need anything, please you have a local friend in here :D
Hey Adrian! Thanks for the nice comments. Glad you liked the video. Huskies are known to run away, so we could never let her off leash. We've also been to Guachimontones and it was super neat! (Video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-um5igR-aqa4.html) Thanks for being a friend :)
You should visit veracruz!, in the capital everythings i so cheap, the 2nd chepeast city in al the republic , if you visit the capital let me know!, good videos!!
Please don't fall victim to this RU-vid trend of overly exaggerated facial expressions for effect on a thumbnail. I always clicked on your videos for a simple smile or genuine cheerful expression in the thumbnail. What's next are you going to start waving your arms in the air like one of those wacky inflatable tube men you see at dealerships.
My favorite one is a bit more expensive (probably $150-200 each), but you can have some delicious meals and is really confortable " La iguna de piedra", try the "Molcajete", "Pescado Sarandeado", or if you like spicy "Camarones al aguachile" and for a drink try the "Cazuela"
Love you guys keep up the great job. Great info and videos. Can't wait for the new one. I am going to try to go in November hope to meet you guys. My wife is from Jocotepec. Love going to ajjic and chapala
You guys are so fun, and environmentalists! Water conservation via showering together lol! Love it! ♥️ yea nvm the silly peeps 😉 they try to make their prob yours, but it is their problem 😘
COOL seeing ya all, Ya all weren't expecting this,....hmm...gotta be the loaned camera or getting drenched, also happened to me here as well, well, once in a while its okay to get rained on! ;)
Hey guys! Loving your blogs, I´ve seen a couple of Guadalajara, and just as I was about to write you about Ajijic, I realized you do have videos here. Just wanted to drop you some tips from Ajijic and Chapala, as I´m from there; the buses that go thru town are a little shorter than the ones that run thru the carretera. Also, there is a really good restaurant in Ajijic, although more expensive, it´s called the Ajijic Tango, located on the main street running down to the malecón (Colón/Morelos). Any doubts you have about Ajijic, Chapala or Guadalajara that I could help you with, I´ll be happy to do it. :)
Life is Nita song.... live , love , laugh and wonder on... you kids are GREAT! Too bad there are jealous hatters in the World, but luckily there are more beautiful souls to our number them.... Peace ✌️
I like the American Legion in Chapala. They are open until 3 and have reasonable daily specials like filet mignon on Tue. for 130 pesos. Others are cheaper. Say hi to Luis!
Hey you guys should go to Tepatiitlan De Morelos ( For Short “Tepa”). Beautiful place to go walk around the center, a lot of markets and check if there is any posters around for events because every year all the smaller cities have festivals around Day of Independence of Mexico. In those events there a lot of horses and horse shit literally but it’s a cool experience and at night their events (Famous Mexican Artists) and carnivals Also try to go to Arandas it’s about 2 Hour drive from Guadalajara it’s very similar to Tepa. Their is some American restaurants in Arandas and Tepa.
I have family in Arandas, I go over there every 2-3 Year’s beautiful weather, people and delicious Food. Also go to Atotonilco El Alto they have THE BEST BREAD, they have this bread that have a layer of cajeta which is delicious. Also you have to go San Juan De Los Lagos they have a bunch of markets and are very well known for their Cajeta which is like carmel I guess, try the one that has some alcohol in it ( I think it’s called Envinada Cajeta)
Yes I noticed a big difference, better colors, better definition, better sound. I envy you, I just came from Morelia, another awesome Mexican city and surrounding places and cities, such as Patzcuaro and Uruapan. I live in the US but I'm from San Luis Potosi (nothing to see there).
Please visit! Lazaro Cardenas, JAL, Mexico.. I was born in Chicago but I lived my early years in this town we call San Diego (Not Registered) Lazaro Cardenas Municipio de Quitupan is the actual name, is a smal very beautiful town would love to see it and I’m actually going to visit after 13 years in December, hopefully you guys consider it, thank you!! Love your channel and content btw!
Hi! 😀 You have to go to The Barranca de Huentitán, and see the view, is quite hard go to all the way to know the bridge down there, the hard part is go back up, best time is go really early, the weekend is full of people doing exercise
Hi I thought the humidity in that area was very low year-round am I wrong? This is basically from watching Jerry Brown. Which is always amaze me because the landscape it's pretty tropical like Miami which is very humid I don't know where you're from I'm from Colorado so there is little to none but I've lived in the southern states for the last 25 years and the humidity is unbearable
lmaooo bunch of loser! i enjoy ur guys' singing every much is super funny! we dont need a grinch in our tangerine crew peace ! anyways loving the new camera ( thank u fellow tangeriner for the borrow)
Yes i saw the difference with the new camera!!! Sony RX100, ZEISS optics... Great! Guys, please visit the Cajititlan Lake too and enjoy the delicious "BIRRIA", great channel guys!
Thanks for spotting the differences in this video. We're so psyched to have this new camera. :) We aren't finding Cajititlan Lake on the map. Where is that?
Hi guys, well, maybe this work: goo.gl/maps/HEYvVZPzUTD2 you have to go to Tlajomulco Town, then take the way to Cajititlan, hey! i saw you were in Colima!... Great!, so many places to visit There, Yes! you were in Comala, please visit Manzanillo, from GDL take the same highway that you used to go to Colima and now keep going for 1 more hour on your tangerine car, you will be in Manzanillo! SALUDOS AMIGOS!
Hi guys, I have heard that Lake Chapala, has glyphosates, better known as Round Up, put out by Monsanto. I heard the water for homes is from the lake and even the condensation, from the lake gets on the fresh fruit and veggies. This is disappointing, if it is true. If you would do a little boots on the ground investigating, it would be so appreciated. I was planning on bringing my husband to the area to heal, this winter. Many of us have grown to care about you three and you don't even know us. Take care and continue having FUN. Joy
We can poke around and see if that’s true. As of now, I know the food here doesn’t give me a reaction like it did in the US with all the pesticides and GMOs.
Guys be ware those warms burn the skin don't get near them nor touch them. How is Lakas ear now?? You could of had tangerine engraved in the case😉 so jealous 15 independence night at chapala and sep 16 so excited for you too!! Got smoked😉😅😅 so excited to watch special video!!

love your very informative and well done videos. i see you have your dog ,laska ?, with you. did you bring her from the states? how did that work? are you going to easily take her back across?
Thanks for the compliment, Martha! Glad you're enjoying them. We did bring Laska from the US. This video will answer your other questions: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kHwvgXf0bO0.html
thanks for the reply. the video was very informative. my biggest concern is for getting laska back across. one friend said they quarantined his dog for six months. he arranged to stay with friends on both sides of the border so he was able to go and check on her every day. after two months they let him have her back. it seems to be all about the "mood" of whomever you're dealing with. i pray you have no problems getting laska back across.
lastima que no ha llovido lo suficiente y no encontraron agua en el tepalo (donde fueron a caminar al principio del video) se forman unas cascadas muy bonitas.
Hi guys! You guys looked lit for like half the video! Lol And why does Jordan have to hold on to the wall while Gonging the bell? Lol....Lit that's why......
The red and white buses travel the carretara. You lucked out with Chile Verde. Take home a daily special especially Thursday and Friday. Go to Mel’s restaurant. Great tortiere otherwise nothing special. Take your swimming suits, they have a pool
