It was a sweet thing he did for his mom and he did so much work. It killed me when he painted the wood around the windows rather than sanding and refinishing. It also broke my heart when he covered up the beautiful mosaic floor.

OMG, What a good boy this son is to his mother. I wished we could of seen his mother face when she walked into her brand new "Older Home". He has a heart of gold and a old soul and so clever to be able to use all those power tools and saws and working with electricity like that. I wish I had a son like this. He also has such a profound love for his mother that you don't see everyday. Kids now a days do not have any respect for their parents, let alone their elders. It is so refreshing to see this video. I hope this boy lives a long and healthy and happy life. He deserves it and May the Lord Watch over him and keep him safe from harm.
@@alohomora8727 We don't know what the circumstances are here. There are actually lots of people who live like this - they're called hoarders and they live in chaos because they can't bear to throw anything away. So they're homes become unliveable. I think that's what is going on here, and the son is trying to clean the house and get rid of all the stuff that his mum has accumulated over the years. I may be wrong, but I've seen lots of videos on RU-vid about hoarders and this looks like a very similar situation. What do the rest of you think? Maybe, or maybe she was unable to clean it all. My mother was similar, collecting too much stuff for a yard sale. It piled up everywhere and got worse (it wasn't this bad). My mother wanted to clean it but she had Lyme disease so that was hard for her, and the weather never agreed with us to have a sale. Now, she's dead, and we're trying to figure out what to do with everything. . . .
A very clever and talented young man. I hope his mother appreciated his gift to her. I was relieved to see him remove the paint off the tile floor and place a wooden floor over it. It preserves the original floor and gives his mother a warm an softer floor to walk on. Kentucky, United States of America

I wish he had left original floor ,the color and design is very exceptional. Young people do not appreciate the the quality and durability of such a floor. Wad very upset when I saw him cover it in awful gray paint. Then he removed it again and the floor looked even better, thought for a moment that it was a way to rejuvenate the floor,but wad so disappointed when covered with inexpensive imitation wood covering.. . So sad 😞 miss beautiful floor.😢. Again do not understand why everything is painted white..is this considered an improvement...so cold and barren looking..is this consider modern and stylish?? . Miss the warmth of the wood color on the trim..it was not damaged or faded..was very mice condition, paint was unnecessary. My opinion, not all things done were an improvement..did like very much the tire with rope trim and flowers with lights 😅.

This young man has talent beyond his years..I loved everything he did..I was ecstatic that he was able to keep the unique floor because it was beautiful..He put this house together & it looks warm & cozy..It shows the love he has for his mother down to the decorations..I would hire you in a min & I hope you build your own construction ,& restoration company..I do wish I saw your mom's reaction cuz I'm happy as a lark like you did it for me😅 God Bless this good son❤❤❤❤

I don't think that's an issue here -- it looks as though his mother had fallen into a hoarding situation. Pretty much everything he cleared out of the house was obvious junk (except for the toddler-size kiddie car, which was probably his when he was little). I suspect that Mom was in a rehab center or hospital when he did this renovation, and will be delighted and much better able to manage her life when she comes home to her beautifully restored, thoughtfully designed house. What a talented, creative and caring young man her son is!
Maybe they sick & tired of it, maybe??? Maybe knowing the mother is older, and who-knows, possibly elderly - and it appears this kid is doing things very compassionately and with full deliberation, that maybe he realizes that the floor is a major risk for falls and injury: it appears from all of his deliberate choices, he made that choice with some thought. And the white painting "cleans up" everything so he can bring any kind of color choices. His minimalist approach is really quite excellent

I whimpered at the painting of the wood & the covering of the floor but momma was not house proud so will only be thrilled at the vast improvement. I don't know why he painted the floor then removed it. Does anyone know what the captions said? He has wonderful tools at the ready, does it explain anything? What a lot of work. His use of pieces he finds is fun. Is this house an old stable? I loved how he put out her little treasures, blessings to you, young man! You touch my heart & I am certain you will be ever blessed.

I GASPED when he painted that gorgeous floor and the natural wood around the windows. What he did for his mother out of love was extremely kind and generous and I hope he will be blessed also !!!
Wow! She must be some fantastic Mother, because she’s brought up an amazing son! I’m flat out getting my son to make me a cup of coffee! She will love the renovation, but that her child did it for her will make her feel so proud she’ll just about pop!
This was incredible!!! The dcorating waa a bit bizaare but the talent was awesome. My favorite was the black walls he made with the plants on them! It's a shame he covered the travotine flooring but he did protect it so that it could be brought back in the future!
Vejo pessoas reclamando porque ele pintou o chao mas eu super compreendendo. Aquele chao tinha uma forte presenca. Olhar para design por anos a fio, pode ser desolador. Vivo numa casa cuja cozinha tem o mesmo chao, depois de um ano de agonia, resolvi colocar tijoleira autoadesiva. Tambem compreendido que, depois de tanta acumulacao, o rapaz quer que a casa respire, dai o estilo minimalista e clean.

I cant believe he covered that beautiful floor, the room looks like a box with the mosaic floor covered. As long as his mom likes it, thats what matters. You did a beautiful job kid, everything looks great and if she wants to uncover it later, she can.
He is the sweetest hardest working young man. I wish he had designed the house around that beautiful mosaic floor instead of covering it up but his ultimate design is almost classically minimalist Asian, peaceful and serene. It did get a bit cluttered with his mom’s things put back and even with all the storage he made there seemed to be no place to store them out of sight.

Ojalá todos los hijos fuesen amables con sus madres. He prefers straight, simple clean lines, modern interior that's why he painted the floor and windows. That kind of floor tiles more suitable for artistic person. Well, if the house is mine then my kid has to tell me as I might not like it. Most of my furniture is solid wood, varnished. I wouldn't like them to be painted. Different individual, different taste.
He was painting over things that were perfectly fine. I’m surprised honestly. The floor was gorgeous, the wood panels around the windows were also beautiful, but I guess he wanted something different. I hope he enjoys his new space

Обычно просто вешают на стену, или напольные вешалки, как в магазинах. Меня больше повеселило, что стены он просто покрасил - видимо, они идеальные, не требовали шпаклевки.
His great idea is to rescue as much as possible the originality of the renovated house...for example in the case of the floor with tiles with geometric designs!! The work is absolutely beautiful!
The hard work done by this good young man is frankly Fantastic and Incredible...everything he tries to do in the transformation of that house in complete disorder and abandonment is called Love!!
