In therapy I use a combination of empirically validated and researched techniques for the treatment of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and treatment of eating disorders. Many of these techniques come from the founder of Brainspotting, David Grand, and from the work of EMDR creator and founder, Francine Shapiro. I am also Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) certified, and have an additional certification in Fitness and Nutrition Coaching from National Exercise Sports Training Association.

I have been wondering about the difference between activation and resource spots so this video is really helpful and I can now see where a therapist or self-spotter could choose to use one rather than the other. My internal therapist is very grateful this video was produced and that I then found it.
