I am considering AGF alongside TGTB math and LA… my son is halfway through Level K and my daughter will be starting Level 2… what should I purchase to get started?
It sounds like you have form 1 children... So it's up to you which cycle you want to start with. Each cycle covers all forms. I woulf personally purchase the printed curriculum and morning time plans. Do you plan on switching language arts as well?
Do we change cycles every year with AGF? So if my Form 1 (Gr. 1) started in a certain cycle he goes to a new cycle for Gr. 2? Or they stay in the same Cycle for Gr. 1-3? Sorry, this mama is a wee bit confused 🤔🙈
Yes cycle one one year, then cycle two and so one untile last cycle then repeat but doing activities that are different because they are a bit older and will take in new information and comprehension level is higher. :)

Oh ok. I went ahead and purchased it. We use All About Reading and All About Spelling so I was mostly going to use it for copywork and maybe recitation. Let me know if you try something else you love!
I use the LA for copywork and spelling and it has been wonderful for that. My son was a poor speller prior to using AGF's LA. I use TGTB for 2 lessons a week ❤️
Hi! I use a combination of The Good and the Beautiful alongside AGF for language arts as well as TGTB for math. I have not personally seen their new math, but we are HUGE fans of their math.
