A Gentle Rain or a Flood of Feelings: Venus Trines Neptune 

I feel such a strong sense of meaninglessness today that is stunning to me. There is no image left of the future and no real memory from the past. It is fascinating to observe. And what you read is true; I absolutely resonate with it today and did say it even to my mom - love alone isn't enough if you can't place it somewhere or if it's not coming back in some form. I guess that's how death feels like. Meaningless. I guess the connection between Sedna, Pluto, and Lilith plays into it, and the illusion of a meaningful life fades. Thank you!

I am in the recovery program of Adult Children of Alcoholics. I just deepened into my healing of a trauma that occured when I was four. I finally could relate to how I felt as a little girl and could name what I felt instead of looking at the little girl with my adult self with a distant and critical eye. This transit seems like the amenable waters to my integration and healing. (Mother wound).

On point 3. How many love songs feature the word baby. How many people call their lover "babe". This isn't something we like to think about, but we should. There are a lot of reasons. The whole "I should be fully actualized" thing. Toxic individualism, atomization. Good for capitalism. Then there is the vulnerability that comes from needing anything that we cannot provide for ourselves. Then there is the "ick" factor in the recognition of how much our intimate lives reflect something "parental". Either because of the unresolved trauma form our parents that we play out in our intimate relationships which is well documented in both psychological literature and, if we are honest, in our own experience. Finally, and this one is really icky, the ways in which our lovers and spouses fulfill that need for absolute acceptance, even indulgence. Theer is so much here.

Thank you, Adam❤ Mother wounds, hmmmmm. I am wondering, is that why I have gravitated towards older women in friendships? I recently started going to my nearby rec center, which has a walking "pool," and I am enjoying it in the early mornings. I have met a group of older women who are so kind and welcoming towards me, which is very healing for me. I had a very cold and not so nice mother growing up (Mars 4h cancer, opposite moon in Cap) I also had a strange dream last night involving water. I was in the water, and a HUGE wave was coming towards me. I didn't have time to get away from it, and I knew I had to just go under it, thinking that i would be tossed and turned something awful. But to my surprise, when I went under it was calm there, and I made it unscathed!

As someone commented (noticed this watching the video as it scrolls through them automatically), a topic that’s come up with the rise in popularity of astrology: in the system I’m studying in courses, a person shouldn’t learn astrology until near the age of 40 and not practice it publicly until after the age of 42. It’s actually liberal arts as a whole as that doesn’t actually develop until the last stage of sun (38-42) and ability to understand isn’t worked on until the mars stage. An example would be a topic I see people complain about is older bands still existing and touring. If I laid out what I listened to as a teenager, those bands are still around but the songs are not represented by their Mercury stage developing through the sun stages, it’s changed to mars, Jupiter and even Saturn at this point. Bands typically break up at the 2nd solar stage and go independent routes by my generation, they both stay together and go independent. Historically, liberal arts expressing the Mercury stage wouldn’t be smiled upon 😆. Neptune is a tricky topic converting to this system as it pretty much perfectly aligns with “Luciferic” which also means you’re stuck explaining what that actually means which is more rejection of meaning of the material world and escapism. Timothy Leary is often given as an archetype for that. Seeing a 9th house Neptune in Leo.. it’s never been disclosed, but it’s most likely the song Eulogy from Tool is about Leary as Leary was releasing albums towards the end of his life guiding people through his dying process as “liberating humanity” which is both arrogant and absurd. 😆. Those don’t “intend harm”, but if I further review it they wouldn’t intend as much harm as say Arhimanic or reverse archai. Mythologically, these 3 became “malefic” to create moral free will choice and are outside influences as opposed to direct/personal being the traditional 7. In my personal opinion, there are different astrologies and I was more interested in more personality type astrology in my solar years, towards the end it shifted to a more existential type. But there’s a validity you can even see in the liberal arts where getting involved too early can have detrimental effects even culturally if it’s overwhelmed by an economy defined by the Mercury stage. Neptune 4th, with it in the fortune 10th that 4th house Neptune experiencing the transiting Neptune square is what inspired these courses I’m taking. Lvl 1 and 2 spirit zr in cancer started the traditional astrology deep dive, lvl 2 moving to Leo is the transition to the religious and spiritual ties that address what’d be termed looking at them modernly as detrimental distortions. 😜 Venus rules my 9th so it’s tied to that.
