Orderd a 24 inch Bar and Chain from Sägenspezi of German on thier Ebay site, mainly because they were one of the few sites that had the pattern for the Vintage Stihl S10 Chainsaw and I really wanted a sprocket nose bar for it. Beautiful! I love the older saws! Not a lot of RPM but they sure can put the torque to a chain!

Definitely a cool bar on the old S10! Just a little tip to help keep the chain tension consistent, lift up on the front of the bar when adjusting and tightening the chain. The chain will stay tight longer and wont have to adjust the chain tension as much once the chain comes up to operating temperature.

Bought two 08s at the flea market. One was 25 the other was 65 still have machine marks on original pistons. Sound lovely . Not fast but have great torque. Well made Stihl products Dan.

She ain't as fast but she holds her own.... Says a lot about vintage saws. Also I would have to agree building saws is a whole lot cheaper than building cars. Great video as usual

If you are bucking low stuff, you won't have to bend over so far. You will save you back on long days. One advantage of the low rpm saws is they are easier on the ears.

They are Chinese, German in name only. We don't really get neotec/farmertec and whatever else they call the knockoff brands but sagenspezi sells a bunch of aftermarket spare parts and bars/chains.
